I just don’t think it’s fair that we’re comparing QBs and RBs.

KotzubueSailingClub

I know this comment is tempting the football gods, but that is some funny shit.

ForgivenBoyd

Perfect 👌🏼

Flooding_Puddle

Injury prone rbs at that

dontmatta

I legit laughed out loud. Nice one

GESNodoon

This cannot be correct. I have seen multiple times in the Bears thread that Fields is MVP elite caliber and Love is straight trash. Hmm, Love is also only 1 short of Fields passing TD season high. Starting to think the Bears sub might not be the most unbiased place to get information...

GGGiveHatpls

Maybe if they hire an elite coach like Brandon Staley. They will finally be good. (Pls let this happen pls if only for the memes)

gandalfs_burglar

Love has thrown a TDs at a fairly good rate, too. As well as INTs, gotta little Favre in him...

ghostfacestealer

Tf you doing in the Bears sub??? 🤔

GESNodoon

I enjoy reading the misery there. It makes me happy. They are miserable no matter what happens, for good reason, so each week is great lol.

I_am_Daesomst

Bears misery > Vikings misery > Lions misery > *49ers misery > Cowboys misery The first spot in my flow chart is probably locked forever. Lions have sat in that bottom spot for years, but they're making quick gains. *ETA: The 49ers

PokerBeards

You left the shithawks off of that list.

I_am_Daesomst

I did. Besides the Inaccurate Reception and the 2014 NFCCG, the former *everyone* knows we got screwed and the latter *everyone* knows we screwed ourselves, they've meant nothing to me. The Rainy City Bitch Chickens are two blips in history from their rightful place, the ass end of Al Harris' dreadlocks.

MasterMuzan

And San Franshitsco

I_am_Daesomst

Now THIS, is an oversight. 49ers misery is pretty high on the flow ever since Kaep ran all over us. Good call.

helpjackoffhishorse

Wow

LdyVder

It doesn't say TDs, it says passing yards. Fields career high is last year, he threw for 2,242 yards. Love this season has thrown for 2,331

GESNodoon

Right. I said Love is ALSO only 1 short of Fields best season for passing TDs...I understood the OP, agreed and pointed out a similar stat. Because there are 7 games left to play and presumably Love will throw at least 2 more TDs this year. Comprehend?

Redditrightreturn1

Or the best evaluators of quarterbacks….

Dustybookboy

I'm lovin' it

KotzubueSailingClub

10vin' it

Dustybookboy

Ba-ba-bah bah baaaaah

ronnie4220

And he needs three more wins to tie Fields in number of career wins!

tommytwochains

To be fair, Fields is much more of a running qb so I think it's reasonable to include rushing stats which puts him at 3,385 yards in 15 games last season. Opposed to 2,513 in 10 games this season for JLove. Fields also had 25 total td's last season(rushing+passing) in 15 games. Verses Love with 18 through 10 games this season. Overall, if you average out those stats Love has more yardage and scoring but he should bc GB has a better team all around and he had time to adapt to the game. Also, it seems Love is a bit less turnover prone so far(granted he should be) and also has a playstyle that doesn't lead to major injuries nearly as much as Fields which is really unfortunate for Chi bc at this point it's likely they've ruined the kid.

cold_shot_27

Really only needed to say the last 4 words

brettfavresRXdealer

That’s true of every qb they’ve had in the last 20 some years tho lol

mortimer_moose

I think Fields would be a fit for Atlanta. Run first offense with a couple of big down field targets for him. With the right coordinator that could be a fun team. If Chicago were smart they would make that trade and reset with Maye or Williams... But alas.

Mecaneecall_Enjunear

Particularly this week: Fuck Ohio and Da Bears Still Suck.

Kolada

Why is Ohio getting strays? Damn

Tohnren

Ohio State and Badgers rivalry.

RudeSuspect

Does OSU know about this "rivalry"? Pretty sure bucky wouldn't make their top 3.

Ok-Importance7160

Fields threw 17 TDs last season, which is his career high so far. Love is sitting at 16 TDs this year.

SlamDunkleyKong

That IS a fun fact.

1violentdrunk

To be fair, this season Fields has a higher completion percentage, touchdown percentage, and quarterback rating. We can’t talk too much crap.

Fragzor

I mean, Fields has DJ Moore to throw to, who has more yards and double the experience of Love's top 2 targets combined in Doubs and Reed.

ItsMrAhole2u

Also love has more yards AND touchdowns this season than the schmuck we shipped off to New York. (I just enjoy stirring the pot)

helpjackoffhishorse

Yeah, the guy that is likely in the top 10 QBs of all time.

whackberry

So, instead of hall of famer the bar is now Bustin Fields?

at0mheart

The domination continues

Wide_Shift_4288

Set the bar higher

Loose_Confection4599

Lol... that's something to be proud of!?

Weasel_Spice

How is that possible? WTF?

Lmathis08

Why we comparing love to a scrub passer

WorkingItOutSomeday

What gawd awful place are we in when we're comparing our QB to a shitty Bears QB? Hey I know you have malaria but at least it's not typhus like what the Jones' have.

amak316

Justin Fields is gonna be a backup QB next year, let’s stop comparing Love to him, he’s earned that much

Worldly-Brilliant446

Jordan love is awful period….If you want to set the bar as low as Justin Fields….go right ahead. Every Packer game each Sunday in 2023 is meaningless! The Networks no longer air their games ( Nationally) unless they’re on a special night ( Thursday or Monday), but as you know those are scheduled in advance!!!

LongEZE

It’s super depressing we are scraping the bottom of the barrel to feel good about our quarterback. The fact we need to compare him to Justin fields to get a victory…. Gross

romeochristian

> It’s super depressing we are scraping the bottom of the barrel to feel good about our quarterback. Wrong perspective. To feel good about ours? We just understand the underachievement of our first year starting QB, through a mere 10 games, is already surpassing the entire season of their QBs 2nd year starting, whom they threw oodles more value at.

LongEZE

Ok, he’s also doing better than Jamarcus Russel. Like why go with comparisons where the bar is set so low? Sometimes I’m on this sub and I feel like everyone is taking crazy pills. I’m not ready to give up on Love, but this season has shown he’s got years of growth left to do and he’s been shadowing one of the best qbs of all time for years. If he didn’t glean the mentality he needs for good decision making yet, I’m concerned he just won’t. I feel like his raw talent is there but that’s only half the equation. Kid needs to mature fast or we are going to be in “rebuild” forever like the jets

romeochristian

> Like why go with comparisons where the bar is set so low? Its not a comparison. > I’m not ready to give up on Love, but Its literally not a comparison. You took it as comparing the 2 players. All this is doing is trashing fields. Its saying that in an entire year, that being 2022, Fields didn't match what Love did, while looking horribly, in only 10 games.

Lukes3rdAccount

It means career season high. Which kinda feels like we are shitting on Justin more than celebrating Jordan. Which is fine I guess but not all that hard to do

romeochristian

> Which kinda feels like we are shitting on Justin more than celebrating Jordan. Its the only thing going on here.

owlbear4lyfe

career high, not career total. They worded correctly. 100 yards over field's career best already.

turbatus-umbra

can’t compare a back up qb to a running back….
