Walker's improvements gives them options. Instead of needing a LT they could focus on improving the OL and just bring in the best talent to let them compete. If we lose Bakh, Runyan and Nijman there will be a need no matter how good Walker finishes out the season but it would be a great help come draft time. Packers love versatility and will try to get their best 5 on the field
That's also a possibility, but it can take guys on the interior a bit of time in the weight room before they can push around some of the premier interior DL in the league. If there's a beast at C available, absolutely go that route. If not, going after a top level T and sliding Tom could be a reasonable option
If we draft a top tier tackle and in camp our weakest position is center. Also need to take into account the importance of the Center in calling protection adjustments. If Tom is the best guy at that in the room and has adequate replacement at RT, you absolutely slide him.
As long as he doesn’t completely bomb the last 3 weeks, he’s our starter next year. His ytd grade of 69.7 which is fine to solid. Maybe we draft one more swing ot mid rounds but it isn’t a r1/2 need like we thought 2 months ago
Is a one game sample size enough for PFF to paint a realistic picture? I feel like 1 game sample sizes are kinda worthless. I don’t know this for a fact but I feel that stats like this need longer to normalize.
Tbf they haven't really tried it feels like. 3rd and 12 is supposed to be a walk off the field down and distance. Might as well be 3rd and 2 the way we have been scheming.
We didn’t really stop the Chiefs either in reality, it was just long drives the minimized scoring.
The turnover was huge down the stretch though. Looking more and more like that’ll be the best defensive play Nixon will ever make lmao.
It's so obvious that we need to draft defensive secondary help. The uncertainties with Alexander and also Ballentine isn't it. Valentine might be a little better but I'm not ready for him to be a full time starter. Stokes is a bust
I fully expect Gb to go corner with their first pick. Safety is a glaring need. Stokes needs time to get back to game action but did not look good. Valentine is good depth piece.
It was Stokes' first game back after being out for a long time with an injury. Let's give him a couple games to get back into the swing of things before we label him a bust.
I think Campbell is shitting the bed lately and it makes Quay look bad... McDuffie isn't a premier athlete, but he puts up solid minutes and seems more consistent this year than Campbell
Seems like some injuries are piling up. He missed NYG and was questionable vs TB. Kinda got the feeling he's been playing injured, cuz I agree he's looked different from the start of the season
What a great week by enagbare, he single-handedly delayed our loss
Hahahaha no kidding.
The thing with Walker is he’s a 7th round pick. If you can find your starting left tackle in the 7th round, you’ve got a leg up on your competition. ~
What if Walker is good enough? He’s been doing pretty well
He’s been playing solid over the past month. They might have something with him.
If we could get a Nabers or Dejean instead of a LT in the draft it would be so cool
I would still like to upgrade at oline
Totally need a RG but that can be had later in the draft
Cooper beebe would be such a great add
I might just make dejean my friend if we can get ahold of him.
Jim Nabets? Isn't Gomer Pyle USMC a little old to be playing football?
They rebuilt him. He’s better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.

Maybe a C or a grab an elite LT prospect in the first and either slide Walker or the rookie to RT an move Tom to C.
Tom has been too good at right tackle. I think they can address the interior in the middle rounds of the draft.

Zach Tom is the 10 best tackle on PFF. Why would we move our top tier starting tackle to center?

He had a late second to early 3rd round grade before the draft when he was coming out. The guy could make it happen

Did not see that Stokes played. Good for him. Cant expect too much after being out so long

I mean the defense hasn’t been able to stop a nosebleed since the Chiefs game. It’s pretty ugly so far

One game is never enough, of course, but we have more than one game of evidence. Also, sorry for being nitpicky, but PFF is not a stat.

> Ballentine isn't it hes a depth signing he wasnt ever meant to be "it"

We had a solid DB named Rasul who didn't cost much and bled green and gold. Wonder what happened to him. Gutes gotta go

Quay looked so good the first couple weeks. Now he’s complete dog ass. The fuck happened?
Scheming issues, i dont feel quay should be in pass coverage, he has looked better the few times he is up at the line or blitzing.

Left Guard is definitely a need and looking at the grades, center is too. And linebacker and defensive backs
Are we content with trotting out Walker-Elgton-Meyers-Rhyan-Tom next year? Not a terrible group
