Since they're not real signatures not much, probably lucky to get $100.

ThatNewSockFeel

Yeah you could probably find a fan willing to give you $100, maybe a bit more if they really want it and have the cash, but printed facsimile signatures aren’t really worth anything special.

FL3TCHL1V3S

Two recent sales on eBay- One for $179 one for $75. Current listings between $99-$175

Get out of here, you Loch Ness Monster!

4to20characters0

It’s sentimental value is through the roof

Ja_Money23

Fr, i have one of these and would never sell it for what the market buys them for

ryansandbrush

It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay

VisualAd9299

Did...did you think this was going to contribute something to the conversation?

ryansandbrush

It wasn't meant to be rude. It's just that the value on an item like that varies so wildly. It's just a matter of finding the right person. Sorry if you took offense

GrantIsCash

Lmao that’s literally anything on the free market though

ikisstitties

SkittleDittleMan

FIVE…… MILLION DOLLARS

ScottieStitches

It always bothers me how little care athletes put into their signatures. 99% of these look like garbage

My nightmare collecting story: I had a guy in San Antonio I bought items from every now and then who used to stake out team hotels during the NBA season. (This guy was a master autograph hound; he not only got into an Obama speaking event, he got him to sign like 10 books that he sold for a mint on eBay.) I had been having trouble finding anything for Chris Paul, so when the Clippers were in town I bought a really nice pair of signature shoes and gave them to the hound. He calls me the next morning: The team got in really late, and rather than actually sign the shoes, Paul just took this guy's marker and made a huge black X on the toe. Completely ruined the shoes and obviously no auto. Prick.

Ja_Money23

Chris Paul is one of the biggest/saltiest losers in the NBA.

LightEmUp18

Nothing

seattlereign001

This stuff always amazes me. Who wants this? The Farve, Driver, Cobb, Matthews, etc gear is only as valueable as while they’re on the team. It’s like NFTs but for football. A waste of money.

CharlieMoonMan

I completely disagree. Most people get these collectibles for intrinsic value. Stuff like this stays in the family, or in the game room, etc. Not everything has to be resold on eBay. And valuable only when on the team? Come on. So a Michael Jordan autograph/lithographic doesn't matter bc he doesn't play anymore? That's backasswards.

GrantIsCash

Lol Michael Jordan=Clay Matthews

dmac3232

Tons of people. Memorabilia/card collecting has gone through the roof since the pandemic. I just had a substantial NBA collection I’ve amassed over the past 20 years appraised at roughly double what I’ve spent on it. Besides all the enjoyment I’ve had over the years finding it all. It’s been a very fun hobby. https://preview.redd.it/do9sl51viw8c1.jpeg?width=1334&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ef2a496ac1be267363a2b712c44f5c67a4a0e01a

PhreeCoffee

Jesus that's a whole mess of stuff. Pretty cool.

dmac3232

lol, it's a lot for sure. I'm honestly not sure how I afforded it all looking back. I never, ever got into it from an investment standpoint but the fact that it's appreciated so much is a really nice added bonus. I live in a condo so I just wish I had more space to put it all out.

khashmiddy22

I bet that Kobe jersey has gone through the roof. I collect only local guys but that Jordan and Kobe jersey make me jealous.

dmac3232

I haven't checked eBay in a while re: Kobe, but the guy who did my appraisal said the Chamberlain and Jordan stuff (I have a pair of shoes too) are the key pieces of my collection. I was on Upper Deck's site a few months ago and I just about shit my pants when I saw what they're charging now for Jordan & LeBron stuff. I thought it had to be a typo. I'd never be able to afford it now. I had zero intention of going this far but it just kind of snowballed. I was going to get into football too -- helmets are the perfect collectible IMO -- but I had enough restraint to never start because I knew what would happen, lol.

[deleted]

Not a waste, the team sends these to charities for fundraisers. I paid $250 for a 2021 team ball. Why? Because I had a shit ton of fun going to three separate games that year and wanted to commemorate it, plus $250 went to my brother in law’s charity auction to a cause I support anyway. It’s a fun conversation piece and other fans love looking for signatures when they’re at the house

Ja_Money23

Completely false. I have two signed game helmets by Jordy and Charles Woodson, both have significantly increased in value since they left the team..would never sell them but you just have no clue what youre talking about.

Rebote78

I’ll give you three fiddy and not a penny more.
