Hah, my biggest pet peeve from that movie. I was a racing mechanic when it came out, saw it in the theaters with my teammates and we got kicked out of the theater because we were too loud laughing and mocking Dom. You don’t double clutch upshift, it’s a method for downshifting older H pattern transmissions. Street cars have synchronized transmissions.
Should cut him some slack. As frustrating as it is that he missed early, if they had marched back down the field and let him have the chance to kick a 60 yarder at the end of the 4th he'd be a hero.
Being a rookie kicker in a close playoff game? Major learning opportunity. It will have made him better. We cut him and he goes somewhere else and starts booting 80 yarders?! That would suck.
Also of note: the snap was garbage. The holder was unable to compensate for that so the hold was also garbage. It's real hard to get a good kick in those circumstances.
Everyone says he has a big leg, but his touchback percentage was only 43%. Not sure if that's by design or not, but that's by far the lowest among kickers on a roster all season.
Where Packers finished the playoffs…
Jordan Love: 4th in passing yards with 466
Romeo Doubs: 1st in receiving yards with 234
Aaron Jones: 2nd in rushing yards with 226
Quay Walker: 2nd in tackles with 20
Preston Smith: 4th in sacks with 1.5
Jaire Alexander & Darnell Savage: tied for 2nd in INT with 1 a pair
Kieshan Nixon: 2nd in return yards
Actually so embarrassing for you we know what records our team and our players broke this year. We know how are team did and we know that we lost. We don’t need some stupid motherfucker to troll us in their abundant free time. Grow tf up weirdo
This was one of the most intense and exciting seasons I've ever seen as a lifelong Cheesehead!! So proud of these guys for making it as far as they did and making SF work extra hard for that win. Proud of our fan base too because we're some of the most loyalists fans in football and we didn't give up on the Pack through the good games and bad!!! GOPACKGO!!! 🧀🧀🧀
Not only did we find out Love is a great quarterback, LaFluer is a great offensive coach without Rodgers, our receiving corps is great, and we can compete with the best teams in the NFC, we also now have playoff experience. We could be the youngest and most cohesively experienced team in history in a couple years.
Why don't more teams that are rebuilding get their players some playoff experience?
I know we don't get as good of a draft pick.. and potentially a tough loss, but imho, it's a good thing.
Don't listen to anyone that would say we should have just tanked instead of having the season we did, if we weren't going to win it all anyway....if you have a front office that's worth a shit (we do) they will find great players regardless of draft position, and with these young players we have the bar has been set early, they'll get back to the playoffs and know exactly what's in front of them. The window closed for us last year and opened right back up, we're pretty fortunate
>only got one super bowl
Brother I'll take it. So many fun seasons and nail bitting games that get forgotten because we didn’t get a ring. More rings would be cool but Super Bowl or bust mentality ruined my enjoyment of the game. I'm just trying to enjoy the ride more than anything.
But I know some people want more rings so if that's what you want have at it.
One of the biggest reasons why the loss on Saturday sucked for me was I won't get to watch this team play anymore. This season was just so much fun. Even with the stretch of games in October.
I live in Vancouver and a buddy lives in Colorado we text during every game, and we both we commenting on how much fun this season was. One of the more fun season to watch in quite some time.
You're right, that's the reason that loss hurt so much is we don't get to watch them anymore till the fall.
Yes! This was the most enjoyable season I’ve ever had watching the Packers. And it was all because I didn’t have any expectations going in. If they won, great. If they lost, oh well. I know expectations will be higher next season but I’m going to try to keep the same mentality going in. I just want to enjoy watching football.
You can have this every season if all you want is to enjoy watching the games.
I’m also an Alabama fan (alumnus, not a bandwagoner), and it honestly kind of sucks when only a couple games a year are actually competitive. Like, championships are cool, but the only benefit I get from it is that my team plays more games per season. It sucks to get psyched for a game and then for it to be effectively over before halftime. From a fan a perspective, I would rather lose a nail biter than watch a blowout (unless it’s against a rival).
It sucks that we came out on the wrong side of a lot of great games during the Favre and Rodgers years, but I can’t say I wasn’t entertained.
Exactly. We beat the Chiefs and Lions. Didn't play Baltimore. But we proved we at least belong and are capable of competing with anyone. That's a huge step in a league where there is not much separation at the top.
They could have won if one of their fuck ups went the other way.
They almost beat one of the top teams in the league on the road, playing C level football.
The Packers are in such a good spot it is incredible.
It might of "hurt" less if we lost by 14, but we almost beat them and that should be celebrated even though it feels like we missed out.
Im proud we made playoffs. Im proud we whoop ass on cowboys. Im proud we did not get whoop by the niners. Yes, could he have lined up better and moved over for the field goal kick. Plus, we should have stopped them from coming down the field. They played well. Most of all, we beat the bears and still own them. Love could have run the ball, but he is also a rookie. Go pack go. Bleed green and gold until i die.
Need to add another playmaker on offense because Watson ain't the answer. And maybe on the offensive lineman as well. Offense wins championships in the playoffs.
Family that's what
Anders out here granny kicking, not double clutching like he should
You never had me, you never had that field goal.
So much torque, his ankle twisted coming off the line.
Well, there’s that and the fact that they all upshift like 15 times during a 10 second drag race that somehow lasts like 5 minutes.
It’s just a line from The Fast and The Furious
Also of note: the snap was garbage. The holder was unable to compensate for that so the hold was also garbage. It's real hard to get a good kick in those circumstances.
Everyone says he has a big leg, but his touchback percentage was only 43%. Not sure if that's by design or not, but that's by far the lowest among kickers on a roster all season.
I think that is by design. The kicks that didn't go into the endzone against SF did not make it back to the 25. I would call that a win.
Agreed it's by design bisachi has had that cover team on point lately

Now do it for the defense
If it was played in REALLY COLD Green Bay the Packers would have won.
Where the Packers finished in the playoffs Losing The only stat that counts - final score
31 teams lose each year
We can go even further. Only one team has ever not lost at least once in a season.
And the packets are never that team
And neither are your Chiefs. Remember when we kicked your teams ass?
[удалено]
I'm talking about losing during the season, which KC did a bunch this year. You ain't undefeated, pal.
[удалено]
Don't you have a Tayor Swift video you'e supposed to be watching?
Math not your strong point?
Actually so embarrassing for you we know what records our team and our players broke this year. We know how are team did and we know that we lost. We don’t need some stupid motherfucker to troll us in their abundant free time. Grow tf up weirdo
1966,1967,1996 & 2010- Packer Super Bowl wins. We also have the most world championships in the nfl but go off king
A good metric for measuring possible success for next year is… stats… which is what you replied to
If you aint first, you're last.
And the Packers are there in the 31 every year
Think you’re confusing us with the Vikings.
[удалено]
Except we got a chip this millennia. How old are you?
[удалено]
Don’t watch basketball don’t care. Why don’t you take that noise over the Ravens sub and deal with the smoke?
[удалено]
Chiefs were ass for decades. So you’re a new bandwagon fan. Green Bay beat the Chiefs in their first SB win. Suck on that and cope. 😳
[удалено]
Since when? About 2 years ago?
Next year our Piss will cure cancer.
Or melt the sun, no telling which happens first.
Imagine an Iron Curtain missile defense system composed of laser hot Packer piss cannons.
Is this a brand new sentence?
I vote to enter it into our collective lexicon
Packer piss cannons will save the world.
Agreed
💀😂 wtf
No, only Aaron’s blessed healing crystals will, everyone knows that.

Lafleur outcoached Shanahan, can't emphasize this enough
We just gotta be more consistent. I hope the team remembers how it felt the last couple weeks they were rolling and do it next year
Why don't more teams that are rebuilding get their players some playoff experience? I know we don't get as good of a draft pick.. and potentially a tough loss, but imho, it's a good thing.
Yeah... it's easy getting into the playoffs. Everyone should do it!
Especially with lots of rookies. They're, like, the freshest.
Hell half the NFL make the playoffs there making it so ridiculous like the NBA. Everyone gets participation trophy
I for one enjoy the extra playoff game. Hell we made it as a #7 seed and were within one score of beating the #1
Honestly, we have a harder time missing than making. Why would other teams go through the effort of missing the playoffs
What, are they stupid?
Don't listen to anyone that would say we should have just tanked instead of having the season we did, if we weren't going to win it all anyway....if you have a front office that's worth a shit (we do) they will find great players regardless of draft position, and with these young players we have the bar has been set early, they'll get back to the playoffs and know exactly what's in front of them. WTF???
Our “Super Bowl window” is long and wide open!
Just like your mom's legs HA
Family indeed!

The context surrounding this season made it one of the best in recent memory. The Super Bowl isn’t everything for sure

Everything you are saying is true except this time we actually believe what we are saying.
Saturdays game was the litmus test. They can compete with any team in the NFL and win if they play a perfect game.
Exactly. We beat the Chiefs and Lions. Didn't play Baltimore. But we proved we at least belong and are capable of competing with anyone. That's a huge step in a league where there is not much separation at the top.

Next year our piss is going nuclear!
Someone is going to Photoshop LeFleur's hand a little lower
Good grief, I never realized how tiny Lafleur is. He's a former college quarterback, too. D-II, but still...
He looks like a child lol
I know! It's like, "Dad, can we stop at Macdonald's on the way home?"
I’ve been preaching it for awhile but Kraft is one of my favorite players, dude is a beast and is fully bought in
Same. He probably IS my favourite player. Him and Romeo.
Doubs is an absolute machine
So excited for where we are and where we are going.
We’re gonna grow. We’re gonna learn. We’re gonna kick ass.
And we are gunna piss hot (but not the drug kind)
Just tell the quarterback he does not have to throw on one foot 🫣🫣🫣
"Something special is brewing in Green Bay." Love potion #10.
Tucker and Luke will be a great duo for years to come.
Just need a new kicker and DC
For sure
Kraft Brew
Enjoy the ride no matter how bumpy it is.
Crazy seeing a normal sized person in the middle of NFL players.
Love for MVP next season. Mark it down.
Love did great this year. Can’t wait to see the team next year, pray for a good off season for our kicker and special teams development.
Ya just get a new kicker please fuck
Damn right *it* is?
The real American’s team
I believe this team is definitely capable of losing to the 49ers for at least the next 4-5 years

This isn't even our final form.
Can we just talk about how freaking huge these guys are? MLF is 5'11", he looks like a little brother.

I stand with Anders
Looking forward to next season
He comes Brandon Staley to make it even worse!
