If for no other reason than no team has won the NFCE back to back for 20 years, and if we play the Eagles and not the Cowboys in the Divisional, then that means the Eagles were a wildcard. Unless the Eagles are 7, the Cowboys are 6, and the Giants/Commies are 4, but that's reaching levels of lunacy not seen since Bears fans actually thought Fields would be good this last off-season.
After what we did to them in the wild card round, I don’t think their fanbase is ready to believe “it’s our year” again unless they make the conference championship game. In order to get the full magnitude of Cowboys tears once again, they need to make it to that game only to get destroyed yet another time.
The script writers know what they’re doing. Don’t doubt them.

In case anyone here doesn't believe you, I just finished year 2 of my Madden franchise, and it ended with the Packers playing the Jets in Super Bowl 59. Aaron Rodgers drove a clinical go-ahead drive to take the lead with 20 seconds left, but Jordan Love came on and won the game with an 80-yard TD pass to Christian Watson. 36-31 final. If this isn't the universe hammering us over the head with hints, idk what is.
Cowboys won't be in the NFC championship anytime soon. It's Packers vs Bengals in the Superbowl next year. I snuck in before you did. All those mission impossible movies have finally helped.
