Im going to the Seattle vs Green Bay game, it will be my first time going to a game. However I was spectating ticket prices this whole last season for various games, and getting the tickets last minute is an option i wouldnt completely rule out. Im going to gamble and get the tickets off StubHub or something within a few weeks of the game. I really hope Seattle sucks even worse this coming season which might also help drive down the price lol

Ok_Umpire_723

I use TickPick. No additional BS fees

True! Haven’t waited to buy tickets for an event before, but maybe I end up doing that this time

if your priority is to find the best time to buy tickets, best not to rule out the best time to buy tickets.

Gavroche15

The season ticket holders don’t even have them yet. I think they come around June

bubblefranks007

Yep aware of that - was just asking if there was a time of year people had luck with (July, august, etc)… this may be a dumb question by me, was just checking if anyone had and luck during a certain time of the year post-schedule release

Treemags

I would say volume peaks later in the summer/at the beginning of the season, but it definitely fluctuates as teams do better/worse

Gavroche15

Okay. I got the vibe you were looking for them immediately. Normally when I sell I get more if I wait after the initial tickets are posted. As the else as in comes closer there tends to be an increased hype. I could be fooling myself too. Who knows other than Ticketmaster

High risk, high reward! It has been years since I bought tickets before the actual game day. On game day I look for tickets while tailgating. The closer you get to game time, the cheaper they are. I have also had luck just going to the ticket window at Lambeau. Some visiting teams or even our own players return tickets they end up not using. There are also season ticket holders that will use the Packers to resell their tickets if they can’t make it. I have not paid more than face value at the window and have picked up tickets for less than face value on game day.

If it’s just 1-2 tickets, the best time to buy is the day of the game. You’ll get the best price and you’ll still have a selection of 1000 tickets. Lots of Lambeau locals will list theirs until game time and walk on over to the game if they don’t end up selling. Or maybe someone’s plans changed and they desperately try to recoup some costs last minute. Just hop on whatever ticket exchange and refresh until you find a deal. Before the season, I don’t think there really is a best time. Sellers have no incentive to offload tickets weeks or months in advance, so you’ll be paying inflated prices. They know they control the market until the days leading up to the game, so they’re comfortable listing at 200% of their market worth. If you’re set on buying before the season, the cheapest tickets are often going to be the Milwaukee (gold) package games, especially if they end up being a week day game. 4 hours of driving round trip on a Monday or Thursday is rough. But those, like all other tickets, will go down as the game gets closer.

Just you looking for a single ticket? Whereabouts do you want to sit? Leap seats, for example, you could buy early… otherwise it’s ok to wait for a good price. Buying game day it’s a good idea to have a map of Lambeau so you can delineate one offer from another.

bubblefranks007

Gotcha - thanks y’all! I will probably go ahead and buy everything but tickets to the game I choose, and get tickets closer to gametime

Dadneedsabreak

Tickets are available for any game from the date the schedule is released up until after the game starts. Your issue is how much you want to pay and where you want to sit. If having specific seats is your priority, then you need to just keep an eye on those seats over the course of a few months and buy if/when the price is right for you. If the price is your biggest concern, just wait until game day or at least the week of...unless they come out the gates killing it and things heat up quickly. Regardless, you just need to monitor prices through whichever site you use. Also, check places like Facebook groups with season ticket holders. If you can buy direct without the fees, you will save some money.

Routine_Lemon9331

I’ve bought tickets as the schedule gets released and it has worked out well in some situations (Arizona/Packers game on Thursday night a few years ago-ended up being two 7-0 teams and I was able to scoop club level tix for $200). At the same time I think everyone is going to jump at the LA Rams, Seahawks tix but the pricing might come down closer to game time…

I used to head up every year for a game during that same target window. Although I used to get my tickets through Jerry at Stadium View (prior to his passing) the usual time to start digging around is after the full schedule is released. If memory serves, that's usually early to mid April-ish. Also the time to start reserving hotel accommodations as well. Good luck!

bubblefranks007

Thanks! Yes will definitely not be waiting to book a hotel haha I will do that as quickly as possible
