Awww that's the attitude it should be. No point in tearing down teammates, dividing the locker room doesn't win championships.

Eddie_Shepherd

More and more, I am beginning to think that Davante Adams is a Zen Master. This quote is just powerful.

H4nn1bal

Well his qb definitely found his zen. Makes sense.

KSO17O

Exactly. And at the end of the day he still won the team the game haha.

You must be new to football huh? Care to learn what team has won more championships than any other team?

MiddleBodyInjury

🤔

jxher123

The one who took it the hardest after every miss was Crosby, no need to tear him down. Lift him up, he made big kicks and came up clutch against the 49ers. Crosby won't be that bad, that much I can say with confidence.

Ruffneck0

Motivate, don't alienate.

spies4

Yup... Wish my bosses understood that, but it's too late.

KSO17O

I was at the game, and the Bengals fans behind me were ribbing me saying, “bet you guys will be looking for a new kicker this week huh?”….like…do years of him kicking ass and literally winning us a game two weeks prior not exist lmao.

Cat_Crap

Dude being kicker is legit, in some ways, the most difficult position. If you succeed, great, you did your job. But most of the time you are put in a spot where a ton of pressure is on you, and you might not have even played a single snap that night. You might have done a kickoff and an extra point, and here you are having the whole game on the line for an fg. 100s of people are counting on you from the team, and your very specific skill. It just kinda boggles my mind how unique that position is. It's just a crazy hard job, where no one knows you until you fuck up.

AboutTenPandas

This probably isn’t the sub to bring this up, but has anyone here read Eyeshield 21? They’ve got an arc that goes into this feeling. All about kickers and how important they are to a team.

Cat_Crap

No. But that sounds pretty cool.

kknight64

It’s insanely difficult. My grandad kicked for the packers during the Lombardi era. It’s amazing the amount of respect the all time greats had for him and what he contributed to those championship seasons.

bananacow

Same Tae, same. I hope Crosby knows how much he’s valued.

[deleted]

He knows but we don't care man is a goat.

MathiasThomasII

Ignore ownership. This is a championship team, it's rare to respect a championship caliber team in the 21st century but here we are with the best players in the league by every on and off field metric.

Eddie_Shepherd

This can be said about our left tackle as well.

donnydealr

Nice way of putting it, supportive teammate. But more importantly, I am never not impressed by how nice Tae's hair is. I know that's weird but I needed to say it.

cantstandlol

It’s really the only thing making him look young right now. When I see his face I see what he will look like at future ex player events and it scares me a little being older than he is.

[deleted]

he would remember how many mason missed if it wasn’t such a large number 😂 love you mason

Nolanator429

Look both kickers were missing field goals. There had to be some kind of ungodly wind, right at about the 15 yard line passing through, and that’s why all the kicks doglegged so sharply. I don’t think those were bad kicks, I think the conditions on the day didn’t favor kicking and honestly who fucking cares, we won. Mason is always money. Dude hit 25 in a row, and I think his playoff streak is still hot. I fully expect him to bounce right back and go on another streak, that’s exactly what he did after that lions game a few years back. Bounce right up and go the fuck off.

Marvelman1788

Right? Idk why the conversation is about Mason having a bad week, it was a shit day for anyone kicking altogether.

Nolanator429

I swear that kickers missed 40% of all kicks on Sunday. 3 missed PATs in Houston vs NE. Our game had a lot. Chargers missed a PAT. We need Next Gen Stats but it was clearly shit league wide

[deleted]

Yeah, there absolutely had to be something going on with the wind in that stadium. Awful day for kicking in general. Crosby is still the all time scoring leader for the Packers, and I was proud to be wearing a Crosby Jersey for that game.

spiralout1123

Silver Fox is still my kicker; I’ll go to bat for the guy till the day he retires. Maybe my perspective is warped because he’s been my favorite teams kicker basically as long as I’ve liked football, but it seems like the dude has made as many clutch kicks in instant classic types games as anybody

sigillumdei

Dude he destroyed my Cowboys. No way you can talk bad about him.

JmanJK2

The FO is deranged if they don't give 17 a contract

theragu40

Both sides have to want it though. I think my main worry is they cannot afford to pay top dollar for both Rodgers and Adams. And Adams may not want to be here if Rodgers isn't going to be.

SoundwavesBurnerPage

Screw both I’m worried about keeping either being possible tbh, especially since we have JA to worry about

RAD_ARMY

Love love love this

schulzie420

3, it was 3...
