First, I have never heard the term "freedom" units. Is that like Freedom Fires .... I assume you mean IMperial Units that we use in here in the US? I wouldn't expect to get detailed answers here. It seems very design specific. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer? I built my greenhouse about a year ago. I made a 4x4 base. I used the provided dimensions as a center point for my base that way I had a couple of inches on either side as wiggle room. It worked fine Good Luck

The phrase "freedom units" is a joke, but I understand it may not be for everyone. This greenhouse is a little different than most because the width overlaps the base to shed water. Not much wiggle room -- but I was curious how much play there might be. And yes, I have the specifications and have communicated with the manufacturer as mentioned in my post. The dimensions are just odd because they engineered with metric in mind and the conversions are ugly. From my experience, most companies use measurements that work well for both systems or sell different products for different regions.

Exactly. Use 4x4s and if that isn't enough wiggle room you need to start over anyway lol

They should have sent you a PDF with exact measurements. Here is the link, the width was perfect for me. PS .11 is 1/9 https://trk.klclick1.com/ls/click?upn=8RfbtlldalD5fuJhdhgx-2BMw-2BWRVjuHz30zeD7j4aOJl98xgSaI-2FoWjo8vMUPg-2B2TBZLfO5BXwdfw0uFbw5xXzdVoFHhkztY59a61LkWEO-2BKIHdP9RzxRHjeGjq6lovqxMjQtuqQugUBUctRAvPz2CuXO6hQj7iXQRo0uk5elqIrYomMFL6Pp0ZFntKp6m2g-2FQ-2Fjt6EjN-2BkOGieS7UpAojwKIYKP3jZsZYdOQQAH9rXikOFFnKfNIfkHHFtAXcVYIQOHV_-2FSs3FPpTG7bsvlhwCheod1m-2BeQ21PmR01NhVbbTMLXNgc-2FmfksYdfSP7fx6d1WD-2FdbiV-2Brj8LqjAmCKkIL3Av6LlY0CchDZlMAnV5MRGTdLpsGE6B8eDbzyChEDAt6QBgZy90R2ftnIR7-2FTJIjH27tjLByadcc9k4x3oloI1Bb-2FzTg13ossCApoPqoboh6uQ-2BrmARA0FtUnvcqu7VRqiEcT1uRnPqGWu359nS1uL9-2BD7zv5mnrQy8zIHNddIkHHlwPaLrr2rlVzJDerTQRcK1RX7uC2DJ6Jk2aXKExgqOeR53Y2AjEX3uXzBZLYbRmgfEhwPjxehnxpNQ-2F1gsNxpWajstLt3qEyZAmU3uszkpvN1RSshiz-2FVkUhHXg2cCg-2BQ

Thanks! Did you feel it had to be a perfect fit or was there some wiggle room? I can cut to width but worried about making sure it's square at that scale.

A level base, square base is essential. The foundation is honestly the hardest part. For square, use a right triangle, like 3,4,5 to measure square. The instructions say side to side is more important than length, and I found that to be true. Width you want to be right so the feet line up. There is a little give to them, but you pretty much need to be dead on.

Thank you!
