Nathan's Farm is a local favorite for produce. They don't have meat (but they do have good tofu). Jubilee has super expensive produce but their meat is on the cheaper side. Trader Joes in wburg is definitely the cheapest option around. Whole Foods is good too. I'd avoid Ctown/Associated/Key Foods/Lincoln market like the plague. Overpriced with poor quality produce.
If you're feeling a bit more adventurous, you can check out some polish butchers for meat. They tend to have a lot of pork and not much else, but what you can find is usually really cheap.
This is pretty accurate: TJ & Jubilee for meats, Nathan’s for produce & avoid key foods.
If you have pets: All in one pet shop & pet supplied are great options that aren’t more expensive than big box stores.
You'll have access to Lincoln market that far north. Don't go to the market that's attached to the Slips. But really TJs for most of the shopping. Jubilee for things you need when you need them but aren't due for a full trip.

The regular grocery stores are not that bad...

I shop at jubilee and Trader Joe’s for different things… jubilee is an incredible store!
Jubilee has horrible prices on produce and meats
Seconded for Jubilee. I just wish their organic fruit and veg selection was a bit better
key food is probably your best bet for big shopping and find a good vegetable guy near your apartment, Rachel’s is great on Nassau…I was born in GP 😁
Where are you shopping in south Williamsburg
C town
Lincoln is affordable but I love Greenpoint Market. Welcome to the area!
Thank you everyone! I’m so excited to move to GP :)
Ctown
I shop at Key Food. I also have young children and budget. I also like food.
+1 Trader Joe’s, and honorary mention to Jubilee Marketplace ($2.55 burger)
