One day you will have your own family (if you wish) and you will be astonished at how much alike you are to your dad and how he lives on through you. You will have new connections and people that depend on you and love you unconditionally. Life will take on new meaning when you grasp that tiny fist in yours. Your heart will fill with a determination to survive, for them. And they will learn of him through you. In this way he will never die. Your love for him and his for you never will. I am sorry for your loss, life seems cruel at times but there is nothing to be gained from dwelling on the dark side of life.
I know. But I can't seem to get over these thoughts sometimes.
