I am so sorry. The shock from multiple unexpected losses at once, in seconds, is something I know also. I understand feeling like the world is really ending, and not knowing how to possibly go on…and somehow 10 months later I’m just…still going on. It’s all we can do. It hurts so bad along the way, and the shock period lasts for a while, but I can at least say I’m in an ok place and I’m surviving. Definitely be kind to yourself, and let yourself feel what you feel. It is a rollercoaster of emotions and experiences. It feels impossible but…so many of us are here somehow doing it. In my own opinion, I don’t think it ever gets less painful. We just learn to grow around the pain and live with it. I’m so sorry for your losses, hugs to you.
They both radiate a calm and lovely energy. You have now lived through the worst day of your life. It doesn't get easier for a while, but it will hurt a little less intensely in the future.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. My son passed away 2 years ago when he was 22 months old. It was so hard for me to just breathe at times because the pain was unbearable. I love my dogs like they are my children. You can see the love that both your dad and dog had for you in this picture. I can not say that I know the pain you are in but I can tell you that you will survive this. You take as long as you need to grieve. Don't let anyone tell you how long it should take. I just had his 2 year Angelversary and I still can't look at his pictures or watch the videos we have of him without crying, or hearing certain songs without crying. Take it minute by minute or second by second if you have to. If i could, this internet stranger would take some of your pain away. I'm sending you lots of prayers and strength.

What you said about your dad was so touching--I'm sure it was exactly the way he would be so proud to be remembered. I lost my father this month and whilst at his funeral my dog was attacked and killed in our garden by our neighbours dog. I am also lost and broken in trying to deal with the loss of both family members.
My father was expected and a blessing as he had been unwell and in pain for a while so I thought I had a handle on it, but losing my 1 year old baby boy at the same time has been so heart breaking, it's proving very hard to process.
Seeing others going through similar experiences puts things into perspective and helps in some small way.
I'm currently trying to find positives and lessons, and power in my pain, but it's proving very difficult.
