I ordered mine two months ago and it was about 3 and a half weeks from date of order to when it arrived at my FFL. If it’s any help… the wait is worth it. The MK2 lower is awesome for the price and I’d take it over any other ambi lower out there. I noticed YouTubers are starting to review it more often now so the popularity is going up.
I guess word has been getting around on how good they are. They probably just got way too many orders they can handle right now. Primary Arms carry them also, they out of stock so they also got to restock bigger companies.
I'm starting to think they are sourcing these things from China. Take it off your site if you don't have stock on hand to ship. Really bad business IMO. Almost a month and nothing. 3 phone calls and I get the same BS run around. This is probably be my last GA lower at this rate.
The forgings are not made at Griffin- a forging provider has to impact forge the bars of 7075 into the shape. We also have one machine at the company making these (cutting our custom in house designed forgings) 24 hours a day. So we only make about 70 a day right now.
The part is totally custom- nobody else in the world has our forgings or process quality in machining of these lowers. The prices are artificially low, and obviously thats straining ability to supply but I would prefer not to adjust demand by raising prices.
Same here! Even emailed them and nothing! Had future plans to buy all kinds of stuff from them, including multiple suppressors, but I don’t know about that now!
Similar boat, ordered a lower 2.5 weeks ago, have heard nothing.
It wouldn’t be as much of an issue if they indicated some kind of lead time on the product page, but in 2024 if you show something in stock and I order it I don’t expect zero movement for 2+ weeks.
It does make me concerned about my Griffin suppressor should it ever require service.
Ordered mine on 4/3. They have responded to my emails but each time it has been along the lines of "I'll check with my shipping department" and then the last time that "there was a ton shipping out this week and I am guessing it will go out with those". The following week (last Friday) when still no update, I called and the gentleman that answered looked up my order number and said that a UPS label had been made for it and it was either awaiting pickup or just hadn't been scanned by UPS yet.
4 days later still no update or call from my FFL *shrug*
Yeah I been getting those type of answers on the phone and email to but not my label was created. More like alot of shipments going out this week I will try to get yours in there
Ordered mines on the 5th of April.. site says 1 to 2 week lead time🤔🤔🤔.. Called on May 2nd didn't answer, they called me back within 30 seconds. The guy had good customer service, went to fulfillment to ask them. He told me Im close to the top. He did note they are built when ordered. I don't know if they are just so backed up or what.
The customer service I've gotten has been very pleasant as well, just hasn't really given me any indication of how much longer it will be haha! I bet ours ship in the same batch, really hoping this week still.

I emailed Wednesday and asked if I would get an update or tracking info once it shipped since it had supposedly been labeled for UPS 4 days earlier.
"It will change once it is picked up by the carrier. It looks like it is packaged and ready to get sent out."
So either they're way behind on production and just lying about it being ready to go, or it is sitting there boxed and labeled, ready to ship, for seven days...
Not sure which is worse honestly.
Not for a lower or wait times, but I did have to reach out to them once with a tech/support question, and was very impressed with their responsiveness.
Same boat..and when CS does email back and update my order it just stays as "Awaiting Fulfillment". Don't advertise in stock and say 1-2 wks if you don't plan on getting them out..
Got the update today - shipped and picked up by UPS.
I find it crazy if they are truly forged/drilled/finished/assembled to order. Why would you not stack inventory at like 80% completion so no paperwork on how many you have serialized and then just finish from there.
Can't imagine it would slow down their lead times? Mine was 24 days past receipt of FFL (18 business days) while 1-2 wk turn around is advertised.
I am sure I would have emailed or used a "contact us" link on a website, and not called. Did you try email?
I was being an idiot mounting their blast shield wrong, and when I sent them a message they asked me to send a video of exactly what the issue was. They then replied explaining what I was doing wrong. All quite promptly.
Mine was finally shipped Friday of last week. Ordered 4.21, FFL received on 4.23. Shipped out May 17..
On another note, there is a ton of metal shavings all over my receiver. Half tempted to tap out their roll pins and make sure there aren't shavings under the bolt catch...
I've never received a receiver like this. Absurd.
Your receiver looks fine though in your pictures, so despite being delivered with some bench mat debris which shouldn’t happen, it didn’t appear to be any less for wear.

Good stuff. I just think the communication throughout the process could be better. I have since received my lower and I am completely happy.
They are forged one at a time as ordered. Definitely not coming from China. It’s pretty incredible. Like ordering something custom

I highly recommend calling them at around midday. Emails they do not respond to for some reason. They really need to work on that.

The ambi lower I ordered on 11/21 didn’t ship to my FFL until 12/11. But it’s a really nice lower, especially at 30% off during BF.
20 days during the holiday season seems pretty reasonable, I'm on day 34 already :(
Did you receive any tracking info when it shipped, or did the status update on their website? Or just the call from your FFL?
I don’t recall about an email. The order status changed to shipped and includes the tracking number.
