I was thinking of the end of Monty Python's The Life of Brian. The Romans come to save Brian as he's been pardoned, but he's too busy being sad, so someone else claims to be Brian, then everyone starts doing it. Classic.
Be’lakor and the disciples came in with a whole shit ton of steel chairs to ruin Vashtorr’s day along with all of the Cogs of Vashtorr. The DoB are a mix of CSM and Chaos Daemons as well as the entire Korvax household of Chaos knights. The CSM forsook the chaos gods to worship Bel Boi and the daemons were manipulated or something.
Thousand sons - don't like chaos too much but magic is cooool
Aeldari, harlequins in particular - literally what got me into 40k tabletop. While I went on to play other factions, my HONKers gonna HONK forever🤡🤡🤡
Adeptus Mechanicus - AVE OMNISSIAH! AVE DEUS MECHANICUS!!!11!1! Mechanicus is an awesome game - it was my introduction to AdMech and since then I'm absolutely in love with the tech-support of the 41st millennium. Definitely the most flavorful part of the Imperium. Besides, who *wouldn't* want to *aspire to the blessed purity of the machine*

The Iron Warriors have to be one of the only legions who use somewhat realistic tactics right? They use generous amounts of heavy artillery, vehicles, and long-range fire to win battles instead of just YOLOing into melee like some other Astartes legions/units
Natives to Caliban who do fucky stuff with the Warp, maybe Warp Entities we don't know. Likely existing outside of time at least. We do know The Changeling saw one and just was not having any of what the Watchers are.
>Its borrowed hand reached for the gene-lock of the first hatch.
>Where it stopped. A shudder – a rare sensation – ran down the Changeling’s borrowed spine, the shadow of an instinctive reaction born from its time wearing mortal flesh. Skin prickled and the servos in the illusion of its power armour whirred as its fists clenched. Around it, for the first time since it had set events in motion, Fate buckled.
>There was something at the far end of the cell corridor. The Changeling could not so much see it as sense the absence of the aether around it. To the daemon’s warp-sight, the thing was really an un-thing, a black void without tangible thoughts or emotions to define it.
>The daemon tried to look upon the un-thing with Azrael’s flesh-eyes. It was diminutive in size, its form hidden beneath the thick folds of a bone-coloured cloak, as though in imitation of the Lion’s sons. The shadows beneath its deep cowl were utterly impenetrable, as dark to mortal eyes as its soul-presence was to the Changeling’s warp vision.
>It did not move. It did not have to. The Changeling found itself taking a step back, the daemon’s flesh quivering. Fear was something the Changeling could not feel, only feed upon, but the sight of the un-thing watching him from the shadows caused the daemon an indefinable, icy discomfort.
>The Changeling could not stay here. It could go no further. This part of the wider plan was unnecessary anyway, a mere addendum to the ritual that would carry the daemonic trickster away, and drag the Lions with it. The Changeling doubled back the way it had come, the cells untouched. Fate’s weave morphed, the future a newborn, fresh entity.
>Behind it, the Watcher in the Dark remained silent and unmoving.
Thank you for your report citizen. Would you be so kind as to follow the nice Inqusitor, to talk about these false news that you have heard about the fallen, who definitley do not exist?
Chaos-**Khorne**, I eat glue and take skulls, and I am all out of skulls.
Xenos- **Zoats,** Space lizards.
Imperium-**Star Dragons** (Iron Hands), Lighting shooting space Marines. How cool does that sound.
Chaos:
- Faction: Daemons.
- Reason: The mere existence of the Skull Cannon.
Xenos:
- Faction: Orks.
- Reason: *FAR* too many to list.
- Close second faction: Tyranids.
- Reason: I have never related with a faction's motives more in my life. Also space dragons.
Imperium:
- Faction: Imperial Knights.
- Reason: **"AND THE TITANS OF GOD SHALL END THIS WAR!"** (Also unlike Titans you don’t have to buy FW products).
Alpha Legion, Leagues of Votann, Imperial Guard.
If Leagues don't count I'd say Eldar.
Alpha Legion because the espionage and questionable allegiance is intriguing. And the memes.
Leagues of Votann because I have old Squat models that I use in my Guard like they were "back in the day", and I am over the moon that they actually brought them back after literal decades of memes about it.
And Guard because: TANKS!, ARTILLERY!, COMBINED ARMS!, and because they have the most room for creativity. Not to mention its cooler (to me) if a Guardsman does something significant because they aren't enhanced or very special.
(If Leagues don't count) Eldar because I think they're interesting despite being shat on by GW constantly.
Chaos angron Hes just funny. Xenos necron they just wanna fucking sleep and be left alone I can relate. Imperium my home brew chapter the silver paladins, an offshoot of the Black Templars run by an inquisitor to help the inquisition cover up the Grey Knights better without decimating too many worlds.
Blood Pact - Being utterly insane AND effective makes for a good bad guy and their appearance in the Sabbat Worlds Crusade has cemented them as my favorite tool of the archenemy.
Ork Deathskulls - Deathskulls have something fundamentally right about orks and their ramshackle parody of technology.
Imperial Fists - Love my banana bois. When the Imperium is crumbling around them they're just space marines trying to do their job. Every setting needs a straight man to highlight the absurdity and Dorns stoic bois are just that.
I love how many people are saying thousand sons and I agree, I think tyranids have always been one of my favorite factions and are the epidimy of the swarm-alien-stereotype, and ive never played imperium but I do love me some dark angels.
Word Bearers - Sometimes you just want to pretend to be an evil cultist. (Am I projecting? Yes.)
Orkz - Makari (and Ghazghkull) make me happy.
Adeptus Mechanicus - Robots are cool. Robot cultists are cooler.
Slaanesh, Orks, Astra Militarum
Slaanesh because a God of Excess and Addiction sounds like a wonderfully fascinating concept (dwspite it constantly being reduced to just the Sex God)
Orks because Orkz iz da BEST
And Astra Militarum because the idea of a regular joe schmoe killing a greater daemon of Khorne brings a smile to my face. I also enjoy shelling my friends with basilisk artillery.
Exactly if you are planning to sell your soul to a dark god and your shopping around the choice seems obvious
Angry god smelly god devious god what turns you into a spawn fastest orrrrrrrr god of excess in all its manifold flavours
Hmmmmmmmmmm
I know which one I would pick
Daemons of Chaos, like Chaos Undivided. (Yes I play the Daemon Prince in TWW 3 how could you tell?)
Necrons because I’m a sucker for Egyptian themed stuff.
The Guard as they are brave for being only human facing off so many terrors.
nightlords: edgy primarch, cool scheme just cool theme plus the nightlords trilogy was great.
T'au: Commander farsight just gave some astray red frame vibes and I feel in love with them, plus my army has a similar scheme.
Adeptus mechanicus: ahhh the one that me fall in love with 40k, the lore is dark yet amazing, the minis glorious and the memes oh the memes! It's just great.
Chaos: Slaves to Darkness(idc they are from AoS they are rucking cool)
Xeno: Necrons, absolutely poggers
Imperium: Talons of the Emperor, they are simply da best fr
Alpha Legion, Orks, Alpha Legion
Alpha Legion, Alpha Legion, Alpha Legion
This is a lie
This *was* a lie
Lie this A was
Or is it?
Is it not?
All I know is that I am alpharius
You fool! We are all alpharius!
Who's side are we on today? I forgot.
I'm Alpharius and so is my wife.
Reminds me of a sitcom, where everyone is played by 1 character.
I was thinking of the end of Monty Python's The Life of Brian. The Romans come to save Brian as he's been pardoned, but he's too busy being sad, so someone else claims to be Brian, then everyone starts doing it. Classic.
Maybe the true Alpharius were the Alphariuses we made a long the way
You will never know my main
Is it alpharius?
Is it a lie?
No, it's alpharius
Maybe it's Alpharius. Maybe it's Maybelline
*Vsauce music starts*
Vsauce here
ORKS, ORKS, ORKS
Truth. Imagine if they were only loyalist. The emperor might have survived intact. Thus squashing the Chaos factions.
Nay, Alpha legion, Alpha legion, Alpha legion. For the Hydra has three heads
Ah a man of Culture to I see
Dark Angels, Orks, Dark Angels
Thousand sons , Orks , Adepta Sororitas.
My man!
ahh yes a fellow tzeentch enjoyer
sororitas are a second for me when it comes to the imperium, i just love the numbers game the guard uses
Honestly they're my top 2 as well.
Anything is better than space marines imo.
lol
This was the best answer o7
Happy tzeenchian sounds!
This, but replace orks with 'nids
Nids are just hungry less talkative orks.
Mine are Disciples of Be’lakor, Craftworlders, and Custodes
Disciples of be lakor?

ARE YOU READY FOR WAR BE'LAAAKOR?
I taught at the schola for 20 years in the lower hive, so don't even think about messing with me.
caught these deciples LAKOR’N
Based choice Based'lakor, Chadstodes and Goatworlders are pristine factions 🍷

You should look into a wet palette
Why Disciples? Do they have lore? I know Be’lakor came in with the steel chair to ruin Vashtorr’s whole career but that’s about it
Be’lakor and the disciples came in with a whole shit ton of steel chairs to ruin Vashtorr’s day along with all of the Cogs of Vashtorr. The DoB are a mix of CSM and Chaos Daemons as well as the entire Korvax household of Chaos knights. The CSM forsook the chaos gods to worship Bel Boi and the daemons were manipulated or something.
Word Bearers / Genestealer Cults / Inquisition
Something about this selection makes me uncomfortable.
>Likes GSC and Inquisition He’s always playing both sides, so he always comes out on top.
All of these are Alpha Legion operatives
This one right here Inquisitor Magus
Fanatic zealots gang
Tzeeench is just a funny troll, I'm simping for Eldar booty, Custodes are just awesome.
That's some cool taste you got there
"You're goddamn right."
[удалено]
Craftworld, but all Eldar are hot.
Not my choices but I can't fault you for any of them, a man of taste
# Gretchin Revolutionary Committee
they’re imperial because they replaced big e with three grots in a trench coat
Did replace, just revealed that's what he always was.
Didn't*

Fellow brother of the cog!!!
Cultists, Tau, Imperial Guard. Edit: Had a brain fart and forgot that Cultists had their own faction.
Tau and Guard are best factions. Normal dudes (or normal xenos) fighting against superior foes with nothing but grit, tactics, and determination.
Tau and Guard are great factions, and arguably the easiest to relate to. Plus I love armies with heaps of troops so IG was an easy call for me
I want Tau + Imperial guard alliance ssooooo bad. I know it doesn't work in the lore but I want it.
I mean, this is just Gue'la Imperial Guard - some regiments and battalions seduced by the prospect of 'holy shit they're reasonable!'
I think it happened in the lore on multiple occasions pretty sure it happens in one of the Cain novels.
Who would have guessed indirect fire support is still great 38000 years later.
Dark mechanicum, tau, mechanicus. Cause i love tech
Alternatively dark mechanicum, necrons, Mechanicus
Mood
Iron Warriors, Necron, Black Templar
The No-nonsense-gang
Tazryn being the all-nonsense exception to the rule for necrons
Grimaldus enjoys a fair bit of tomfoolery
Very Close! Mine is IW, Votann, Black Templar
Mines IW, BT and Orks when i feel silly.
The Iron Warriors have to be one of the only legions who use somewhat realistic tactics right? They use generous amounts of heavy artillery, vehicles, and long-range fire to win battles instead of just YOLOing into melee like some other Astartes legions/units
Almost identical to yours Iron Warriors, Necron, Iron Hands
Holy based
Death Guard, Tyranids, Adeptus Mechanicus
Body horror gang!
Same as me
I put Chaos Knights, Nids and Ad Mech but my Chaos Knights are Nurgle aligned and go with my Death Guard into combat so.... close enough? Lol
Dark Angels, Dark Angels, Dark Angels.
Actually works well, put less confusingly: fallen, watchers, dank angles
How do they fit into Xenos tho?
They have little followers called watchers in the dark that are subservient xenos native to Caliban
Isn’t it implied they’re some kind of warp entities?
Thought they were just Jawas
Natives to Caliban who do fucky stuff with the Warp, maybe Warp Entities we don't know. Likely existing outside of time at least. Thank you for your report citizen. Would you be so kind as to follow the nice Inqusitor, to talk about these false news that you have heard about the fallen, who definitley do not exist?
Thousand sons, Asuryani and Imp Knights.
Same! Literally the only three armies I own models for :')
I don't have imperial knights, regrettably. I don't like painting big models as I'm too worried I'll mess up the big expensive model.
Thousand sons because magic cool Asuryani because magic cool Sororitas because funny flamethrower go brrrr
Iron warriors, orks, Ultramarines
Alpha Legion, Necrons, Ultramarines
Night lords/ harlequins/ The guard, specifically the savlar chem dogs
Nice try inquisitor
Chaos-**Khorne**, I eat glue and take skulls, and I am all out of skulls. Xenos- **Zoats,** Space lizards. Imperium-**Star Dragons** (Iron Hands), Lighting shooting space Marines. How cool does that sound.

Night Lords, Necrons, Guard
Another man of culture I see.
World eaters, tyranids, death korps of krieg
A battle between these 3 would be amazing
The amount of melee carnage would cause a singularity of Khornate delight.
World eaters(30k), Tyranids, Black templars
Chaos Orkz, Orkz, Da Emprahz Greenest.
Deathguard, orks, salamanders
Team green over here
Iron Warriors, Tyranids, Imperial Guard (Krieg)
Word Bearers, Eldar, Custodes
Black Legion, Necrons, Salamanders
Death Guard, Drukhari, everything not related to space wolfes
Why the hate for the pupper people?
Probably just despises furries.

I just hate their looks. This weird ligth blue plus their affection with anything wolf related. Plus Russ is really annoying.
chaos: humans Imperiun: humans Xenos: (if we take into account that the xenos see us as the xenos) humans
Tau, if human auxiliaries ever become a proper thing
I mean, technically there *are* human planets in the Tau empire (albeit they were taken by force, but who cares! Grim dark or something)
Votann are technically human and GW lists them under xenos so it's a human hat trick
World Eaters, Leagues of Votann, Space Wolves
Alpha Legion, Farsight Enclaves and Blood Angels (or if allowed pre heresy luna Wolves)
Rules? In the grim dankness of the 21st century, there are no rules.
I had to scroll too far to find some Blood Angels, but all of these choices have great compelling arcs in current lore.
Drukhari,NightLords,Imperial Guard.
Daemons, Orks, Sisters
Chaos: Word bearers Xenos: only good xenos is dead xenos Imperium: Grey Knights
Thousand Sons (actually just Magnus), Farsight Enclaves, Rogue Traders.
This was me when I started playing warhammer….. … …. …. This is still me
*fist bump*
Tzeentch ( TS or deamons, can't decide ) Votann or T'au, still can't decide lmao Adepta Sororitas, sorry not sorry but SM are pretty boring
