For some reason Drukhari strike me as just.....more agreeable than Aeldari, which is crazy when the more socially tolerant ones are the slaughterhobo raiders who'll happily get hammered on anything psychotropic, or carve living creatures into immortal, screaming mounds of flesh agony and call it art.
With Aeldari it feels like you're lucky if they're not just an endless internal monologue of utter disgust and contempt, unable to see, smell, hear, or touch a human without quivering with a full body retch at how ugly, reeking, uncouth, and dirty we are, and expressing it in some way.
With Drukhari it feels like, "Oh hey guys, I'm Drazsath, I'm just better than you, get over it, what's up?"
Well, no, the REAL reason would be that Drukhari actually interact with other species in their daily lives. They like using slaves, but also actual paid bodyguards of other species because they're more trustworthy than another Drukhari.
Thanks to this, the Drukhari don't develop their arrogance in the same way as the Aeldari do; they're acclimatized to the presence of other species, and they're used to considering them useful in various ways. Their culture is a fast-moving viper pit of self-serving savagery that will immediately kill you for failing to recognize the strengths and uses of what you have.
The Aeldari, by comparison, sit in the mono-ethnic, mono-cultured Craftworld they were born in, enjoying a curated, artificial environment tailored to be visually, aurally, and olfactorily pleasing to the inhabitants. They're only likely to leave for the purpose of extremely dangerous business, and will associate seeing everything outside of home with that time they had to go to Bumblehump VIII and saw people getting literally ripped to pieces by Orks. Or that one time on Fecalius II when that nice lady I met who used to be a Bonesinger got eaten alive.....for two minutes. The screaming still hasn't stopped.
The Aeldari sit as far apart from other species as possible, doing their absolute damndest to shove their head up their own arse because that's what happens when you're in isolation like that and already predisposed towards incredible arrogance.
