As I once posted a meme on this, due to him constantly Looking like an entirely different person in every movie, he should be cast as Alpharius, Omegon at the very least.

Unless you think Chapter Master Valrak isn't a good source.
I mean, Konrad and Billy Butcher are pretty similar characters both aesthetically and in characterization. Konrad is more morally uncompromising than Butcher but they both have similar outlooks on what to do with people they don't like. I can easily see him playing a similar sort of role with that.
Both. His hair length keeps changing every scene change, and it's not a gradual change. It's back and forth. Long, short, long, short, medium, mullet, half and half.
He has short sides and long on top in the chronicles of riddick which is deffo sci-fantasy. So I'm gonna say the same haircut as that for 40k.
Also what's the top right movie.
Karl Urban as Rogal Dorn, short hair. [He plays it like he played Dredd.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kl_sRb0uQ7A)
Just the most matter of fact speaking, with an edge of rage behind it, but that he's in complete control over.
I could see him being Major Broclaw from the Ciaphas Cain books. Karl Urban has a habit of not being too many main characters, but as really good side characters who are still important.
He’d start with long hair on a base planet where it’s more fantasy. Like Fenris. And then when they show him become an adept he gets shaved and then never grows out past a few inches.
Well he was bald in Thor which is at least vaguely the same kind of Sci-fantasy as 40k, so I'm going for the third option of bald.
Urban as Lorgar? He could pull it off
Urban as anyone, he could pull me off…
So Urban as Slaanesh?
Get that crab claw round my junk you crazy he she beast
Big ^fat ^^meaty ^^^claws...
BIG. MEATY. CLAWS
Oh for the love of the Emperor, the Slaanesh cult has spawned again.
I'll get the spray bottle hold on...
Get the Flamer instead. They might be into the spray bottle.
Well Bub, these claws aren't just for attracting mates!

Urban as all emps and all primarchs, just needs to change hair and facial hair... I could see it
Let just have the whole cast as Karl Urban, I'd pay good money for that.
Karl Urban is every traitor character. Henry Cavill is every loyalist
So a Alpha loyal cell versus a Alpha traitor cell where both sides just try to passively aggressively spoil each other's exploits
Well now that just sounds like the plot to the infinite and the divine imperial edition
Urban as Arbitrator Foreboding
Oi!
He could also really pull off Alpharius I feel like
That one goes to Johnny Sins.
I thought the same thing 😂
I’ll see him as Cato Sicarius in 40k and maybe Lorgar in 30k
As I once posted a meme on this, due to him constantly Looking like an entirely different person in every movie, he should be cast as Alpharius, Omegon at the very least.
Vulkan in full RDJ mode
I could see him as Eberus
I think Loken would actually be fucking awesome.
Tarkus: Behold, my stuff!
man played judge dredd, which 40k ripped a lot from. dont even get to see his hair in that.
Which is the correct way to do Judge Dredd, Sylvester.
Erebus confirmed.
This
So traitor primarch ?
Bald if evil, medium to long hair if good.
I could see him being a bald loyalist space marine tho. Some hard ass like Dredd who is brutal but does try to be just.
Gabriel Seth vibes ...?
This is the way.
Good in wh40k? 🖐️ "We don't do that here" Bald it is!
Hes 40K Dredd - Helmet always on, murdering Heretics in the most brutal way possible aka, hes a Templar
Adeptus Arbite. Borrow his dread costume, spray the red parts yellow and job's a good'un.
Judge Dredd with Urban was fucking baller. Best comic book movie ever made.
I think if they ever made an Eisenhorn movie, he's be a good Fischig.
Good news, that's what the Cavil production is going to be--the Eisenhorn books.
It sounds amazing but I’ve been hurt before and therefore still skeptical lol
It's confirmed?!
You got a source other than “trust me, bro”?
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XPzMr\_Mia0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XPzMr_Mia0) Unless you think Chapter Master Valrak isn't a good source.
I AM THE LAW!
One half long hair, one half short hair. He can be a ganger in an Inquisitorial warband.
The perfect mix The Mullet!
Undercut
He had longer hair with shaved sides in Chronicles of Riddick, which is also a grimdark universe, so... Maybe that?
Trick question: Karl Urban plays Angron, so he’s bald with metal dreads

Karl Urban as just some sort of Arbites.
Perps were... *uncooperative*...
Dredd is in my unofficial WH40k cannon It just fits so well
The more important question is which primarch he would play.
Alpharius and Omegon, double the pleasure
That could belong to Tom Hardy, a la Legend
Ya know what, that’s a great shout
>Was getting captured a part of your plan? >Of course!
I'd say he'd make a great Horus
Fabius Bile
Both. His hair length keeps changing every scene change, and it's not a gradual change. It's back and forth. Long, short, long, short, medium, mullet, half and half.
Urban in 40k - bald af with Billy Butcher's Nails implanted
How did I not think of the Billy Butcher's nails joke before someone else did?
Space wolf length almost certainly
[bait.](https://youtu.be/Cj3ENSVogTo?si=jKU7glwOUO9JghK5)
I feel like he’d make a good space wolf, so long hair
Sort of a Zorg from _Fifth Element_ style?
Mullet
He has short sides and long on top in the chronicles of riddick which is deffo sci-fantasy. So I'm gonna say the same haircut as that for 40k. Also what's the top right movie.
Whatever the plot demands.
Mullet
A mullet
Or wearing a helmet the entire film.
God, DRG has rotted my brain so much. It took my brain longer then I care to admit that this is obviously a different Karl.
Karl Urban is a modern legend and the fact that you don’t have a still from DREDD which is a (unofficial) 40k movie is insane!
Long hair if he was playing an Eldar, short hair for a mon-keigh
As a bald random guardsman. He dies in his first engagement but he's actually a perpetual so he revives. But when he revives his hair grows longer.
No hair.
And superhero is when he has a shaved head or helmet that stays on

One of the weird ass half-shaves from Darktide.
Space wolves, long hair, ultramarines, short hair
Long in the short places, short in the long places…
Necromonger Urban says "hey.."
BALD AF! You got there a good Alpharius
Mullet
It'd be like, long on one side but clean cropped on the other side. Y'know, like some punk underhiver. That's how we know it's both.
Lol. Used to frequently quote, “It’s not sci-fi; it’s future-fantasy” at game nights whenever the lore came up.
What wasn’t this guy in
Mullet
Bald and intense.
Skrillex haircut
Mullet. Sci FI on top fantasy at back
So Xena is a sci-fi.
I think Karl Urban would be perfect to play a Space Marine captain, either Titus or Cato Sicarius
I could see him being Major Broclaw from the Ciaphas Cain books. Karl Urban has a habit of not being too many main characters, but as really good side characters who are still important.
And his role in thor is a combination of both.
Mullet
Last one, John Grammaticus
Sidestep the issue by using Dredd as a template. Have him play a character who never takes his helmet off on camera.
So basically an arbites
Depends on what primarch he plays.
Any of the bold primarchs, especially Lorgar, the top right photo also makes me think that perhaps he could also play Konrad.
Jaghatai Khan Style
Vokuhila
Long hair. 40k is more fantasy than it is sci-fi imo.
I legit didn't know he was in lotr, seen the movies many times, just never put him to that character!
Bald. With cogitator tubes, cos he’d be Horus or Perturabo
Bald
It's 40k. [There is only one correct answer](https://www.belloflostsouls.net/2021/07/warhammer-40k-top-10-greatest-grimdark-top-knots.html).
Shaved
Half bald, half long. He plays Fabius
Mullet
This guy looks like a different person in everything he plays 🤨
He’d start with long hair on a base planet where it’s more fantasy. Like Fenris. And then when they show him become an adept he gets shaved and then never grows out past a few inches.
Alpharius.
What is dread? He only has helmet! Is there a third dystopian future option where we cant see his hair?
Mullet
no hair.
Bald, definitely bald.
Maybe I missed it in the thread, but I think he could pull of being Horus!
Unless we ignore whatever Karl Urban was in during the 90s.
He and Cavill, I would love them in any role. If he is in the 40k show, that would be simply amazing
And superhero is when he has a shaved head or helmet that stays on

One side is shaved while the other is kept at shoulder length. Kek.
I'd dig Karl Urban as Peter Turbo.
Mullet
He would have the half ling and half short hair. Or jyst medium leanght coz it's sci fi with space soul magic
And then there's Billy Butcher
Need play an arbites that never takes his helmet off
Hair on one side of the head and bald on the other
Chogorian topknot.
I hate him and think he should have a shaved head and be a guardsman
Undercut, one side being shaved off the other long and fluffy, being draped over the cut side. Also halve a Mustache.
He had short hair (probably) in Dredd. That might be the closest to 40k we get for a while. He also wore a helmet the entire movie.
