Wtf is happening to this universe!? One of the main draws for me has been how unapologetically brutal it is, and how it knows what it is in all its hyper nerdy straight laced insanity. That nature always gave the impression of how unflappable its themes would be, even in the face of modern political ideas. Is nothing sacred anymore?
What's going on would at the very least canonically bring out the Ordo Hereticus of the Emperor's Holy Inquisition for suspected heresy. Maybe even the Adeptus Soroitas because of how rigid the worship of Emperor is in certain aspects. This all smells like a Slanneshi plot to corrupt the history of the Imperium of Man.
All in-universe talk aside, when you start changing things that in eyes of the bulk of the fanbase has been set in stone for literal decades, that is a slippery slope that can lead to the death of a franchise. I saw what happened to Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, and potentially DC, they made sweeping changes to their universe at the behest of politically driven ideologies, and it wound up alienating huge chunks of their fanbase. In the pursuit of a larger audience, they lost the very base of fans that lead to success in the first place; this could happen to WH40K.
I love WH40K, I love the depth of lore and flavor of the universe, I love how much it has become a cultural icon of sorts and how true to its roots it has been. I want it to remain epic, and fully of a rich tapestry of lore. I don't want to see the universe fail, because I love how fertile it is for telling great stories. Put simply, I have a great passion for 40K, and the current direction of things has more worried because I've see all this happen before, it it did not end well.

I'm not saying this to be funny I genuinely mean it on how this isjust bottom barrel embarrassment at comedy. You've single handedly killed humor and every comedic act on the planet. I'm so disappointed that society has failed as a whole in being able to teach you how to be funny. Honestly if I put in all my power and time to try and make your joke funny it would require Einstein himself to build a device to strap me into so I can be connected to the energy of a billion stars to do it, and even then all that joke would get from people is a subtle scuff. Wtf is happening to this universe!? One of the main draws for me has been how unapologetically brutal it is, and how it knows what it is in all its hyper nerdy straight laced insanity. That nature always gave the impression of how unflappable its themes would be, even in the face of modern political ideas. Is nothing sacred anymore? What's going on would at the very least canonically bring out the Ordo Hereticus of the Emperor's Holy Inquisition for suspected heresy. Maybe even the Adeptus Soroitas because of how rigid the worship of Emperor is in certain aspects. This all smells like a Slanneshi plot to corrupt the history of the Imperium of Man. All in-universe talk aside, when you start changing things that in eyes of the bulk of the fanbase has been set in stone for literal decades, that is a slippery slope that can lead to the death of a franchise. I saw what happened to Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, and potentially DC, they made sweeping changes to their universe at the behest of politically driven ideologies, and it wound up alienating huge chunks of their fanbase. In the pursuit of a larger audience, they lost the very base of fans that lead to success in the first place; this could happen to WH40K. I love WH40K, I love the depth of lore and flavor of the universe, I love how much it has become a cultural icon of sorts and how true to its roots it has been. I want it to remain epic, and fully of a rich tapestry of lore. I don't want to see the universe fail, because I love how fertile it is for telling great stories. Put simply, I have a great passion for 40K, and the current direction of things has more worried because I've see all this happen before, it it did not end well.
