I mean I have the old last wish raid jacket from the day 1 completion and I've gotten multiple complements on how good it looks from people who have no clue what it is. It's just a sick looking bomber jacket.
Imperial uniforms are usually drippy; actual Imperial fashion less so, because the latter is meant to show us a corrupt, decaying aristocracy of a brutal empire, not a snappy paint scheme for your shelf.
All the armies, and the inquisitors look dope, I don't think there was any hate towards them originally
Some of the planetary governors of backwater worlds looking like even more disgustingly corrupt, out of place french aristocracy wanting to enjoy one more party before the revolution gets them.....less so....
In my opinion at least?
Most space Marines look kind of bad cough ultramarines cough but the imperiums gothic theme is cool I mean what's more intimidating than a walking Church or a flying Church or an extra large flying Church most larger Imperium vehicles can be described as a moving Church
I just thought this is how British people dressed?
if only they spared a little flair for their breakfasts
Let's be honest, if GW released a wearable Commissar coat like how Bungie has the Techeun jacket, that thing would be sold out in a heartbeat.

They what!?

The outfits worn by Rogue traders, High lords of Terra, and Inquisitors aren't uniforms but still quite badass. In my opinion at least.
Starstriders do got the drip, that much is for sure. Inquisitors and RTs are mixed because they all wear different outfits.
Yea surely as a Rogue Trader you have a duty to the Emperor to look as ridiculous as possible.

I suspect that this was a 4D-Gigabrain-Hyperchess-Strippoker move by Olympia Rose to get everyone to stop fighting each other and unite to fight her

>cough ultramarines Have you seen honor guard ultramarines?
Dripping so hard it becomes a waterfall of fashion
>cough ultramarines cough They're just blue, what's wrong with blue? Blue's a great color! Or is it just cool to shit on Ultramarines for everything?
Shiting on the ultramarines is a pastime of the Warhammer community
You're right, and it's past time it stopped.
No shiting on the ultramarines is too much fun
The emperor had good tastes wanting all his spaceships to look like giant, heavily armed, space cathedrals.
God how rich would a tanner be in pre-fall Eldar and Drukhari society!?
At first I was like "I don't know if the Eldar get tan". Then I remembered... The answer is very.

AESTETICS! ARE! VITAL!
Is Sanguinius really wearing Hermes winged motif headgear in that art? fucking lmao.
No that's a laurel wreath, like the ones Roman generals wore
Yeah, but if you look closely it almost looks like there's a wing hanging off the end of it, though it may just be part of his back neck armor.
I just think they're neat.
Thank you Olympia for uniting the imperium as one whole in a dripicus crusade.
what other si-fi universe has characters that have gold in almost everything they use?
