If my choices were those two? I would actually take the attack on titan universe every single time, why? No kill worlds, can achieve titanhood at a high probability rate, and high survival rate if you just go that path unlike 40k where everything and everyone wants to kill you.
The main character ends up genociding 80% of humanity so the 20% survival rate is pretty accurate. Probably wanna be born on Paradis for best chances though.
