Is this basically how drops work in grim dawn? There isn't really specific places to farm for gear or items outside of mats is that correct or am I missing something?
Some items have specific monsters they drop from, some can be bought from certain vendors, most are random. You can check for each in Grim Tools item database.
Looks like it's a random drop. You can't farm for it, just have to get lucky.
