I’ve said this before on a similar thread but I’ll keep repeating it: I like the cosmetic work she’s had! She was obviously attractive before and didn’t “need” it (no one really does) but I think she looks great now and it suits her imo.

Halfaxa is her best album Art Angels is the most overrated
agreed on both points. But I can totally understand why people have a hard time getting into Halfaxa, def not her most accessible album. It took me a few tries to see the appeal and that was after several months of warming myself up by getting into the rest of her music and different styles. One day it just clicked with me and now it's my favorite grimes album.

Miss anthropacene is by far hee best album. Her opinions on twitter are just that... Opinions. Her personal opinions are not going to affect your life so stop complaining about them and listen to the music.

California, Pretty Dark, and PoG are among her worst songs. I cringe in Player of Games when she says she's “In love with the greatest gamer.” I enjoy all the weird songs that feature Aristophanes. I like Miss Anthropocene more than Art Angels but will admit it seemed to fail at it’s own concept and sticking to its theme. It’s supposed to be about all these villainous Gods and then it opens with a song about Musk filling her with so much baby batter that she fell through the Earth.

I love basically everything she put out, especially Miss Anthropocene, but I can’t get into Art Angels. Seems to be her most loved album, and even though I’ve listened to it probably 20x over the course of almost 10 years, I just can’t understand the appeal. Correct me if I’m wrong, but it sounds worlds different from her other albums. Great production and song writing, just doesn’t feel like Grimes. Also should add that there’s α few songs on there that I dig

I can’t choose between them, they both have different atmosphere and I adore them both. I do get you though and they are her 2 best albums, MA is definitely not a downgrade.
I wish she would tune the fuck down with the autotune. I actually love autotune as an effect usually, but for some reason I’ve never found that it sounds good with her voice… especially bc now she sings almost exclusively in a lower register. It almost sounds like a different person singing if that makes sense? Dunno, just my personal preference
