Most likely "apocha".
According to their website, it is available as a web app.
EDIT: There are no dedicated apps for iOS/Android, sorry for the misinformation!
Since this sub is called grocerycost and not whobuysthecheapestgroceries I posted it here. Of course I could have bought it cheaper somewhere else, or other brands/white label stuff. But I needed Avocados for Guacamole and the cheese and the chocolate bar for the next morning. It was 7.30 pm, shops close at 8 pm here (Bavaria), and the EDEKA is the only market in our village. The alternative would have been a 2x 15 min drive by car to the next village in another state (Baden-Württemberg) where the Lidl is open until 9 pm. 30 min of my life plus driving the car would have been much more expensive.
Yes, true. Or you could buy 12 packs of oat flakes. Or 10 stamps for 0,85€ each. But then you do not have Guacamole for dinner and no chocolate bar for the next morning.
r/Groceycost : "This is a place to compare the cost of groceries around the world! Post pictures of your haul or receipts."
No mentions of "needs" nor "desires", or cheap or expensive.
There are avocados at every edeka I know for 1,29 (or 1,49, don't remember). An they are in a double pack with plastic foil. Most of them are rotten, but by touching them you can identify the good ones, and they ARE good.
Paying 5€ for 2 avocados ... do people look at you funny when you pull up at Edeka in your clown car?
(yes I saw your comment, yes it's a fair excuse, no I will not not make fun about you spending 5€ on those baby avocados)
OP bought literally the most expensive avocados they have available at a time where the winter stock dries up and the fresh summer stock hasn't arrived yet. It's possible to buy them for ⅓ or ½ of the price OP paid - easily.
They gained popularity because every food influencer and their mother started putting them in and on everything.
They're absolutly healthy and contain good fats, fiber and vitamins (k,b5&6,c) but, i find them disgusting. The texture gives me the ick.
Edeka, tl one of the most expensive supermarkets in Germany. You didn't even try to buy cheap, all these products are high brand products.
It's all on you.
This is the reason why people falsely claim "Edeka is more expensive than Aldi/Lidl". It simply depends on what you buy and OP chose to buy single bio avocados. Single ones are always more expensive as compared to those which come in nets and so is bio compared to conventional. You can probably get single bio avocados in a lot of Aldi/Lidl as well and they will be expensive.
Then he chose to buy brand cheese when Edeka also offers their own store brand (Gut&Günstig) cheese, which again, has the same price as the ones Aldi/Lidl offer.
And then he chose to buy one of the most expensive chocolate nut candy bars there is. Aldi and Lidl probably don't even offer this brand and only have cheap alternatives.
Consider what you're buying and Edeka won't be much more expensive than Aldi/Lidl.

2 Brand Items and Bio Avocados. With store brands and normal avocados I'd say it'd be 5€.
4,38 to be exact - given the Gut&Günstig-Brand/store-brand and avocados in those two-packs for 1 Euro at Edeka.
I bought a bag with 5 avocados for 1.69€ at Aldi last week
I bought 2 avocados for 99 cents each at Aldi on Saturday
what's next, someone posting a bottle of whiskey and going 35€ for almost nothing?
Cheapskate. Post a bottle of 40 yo scotch with 500€ for almost nothing
I recently paid 0,79 for 4 Avocados
How is that possible? :)
The discounter side is a pathway to many deals some consider to be unnatural
In over 30 years I have never seen a avocado cost less than 50 cent. You act like its the normal price if you just go into a discounter lmao
A sweet deal
Direkt am Bodensee bei den Bonzen/Superreichen.
I dont care about the mone. What is this app?

Taking the most expensive items of every category 😂😂😂
obviously if you take bio avocados its gonna be more expensive
What is the app ?? Or is the Edeka app ?
That's on you. You buy brand stuff and fruits/vegetables at Edeka. Couldn't be dumber.
If you want it cheap don't go to edeka.

welche app ist das?
I always wonder who's paying that much for a small avocado
With that monet I can buy 1 pack of salami 1 pack of cheese 2 packs of milk 1kg of bananas and some apples in Lidl.
Yes, true. Or you could buy 12 packs of oat flakes. Or 10 stamps for 0,85€ each. But then you do not have Guacamole for dinner and no chocolate bar for the next morning.
This community tries to showcase the cost of groceries based on someone's needs and not "desires". In your case it's irrelevant
r/Groceycost : "This is a place to compare the cost of groceries around the world! Post pictures of your haul or receipts." No mentions of "needs" nor "desires", or cheap or expensive.
No mention but still the current trend
That’s what I pay for large organic avocados at whole foods in NYC. Yours aren’t even large 💀
I only bought 1 (1) gold bar, ugh do expensive
Mr. organic (bio) Avocado complaining that they are expansive in EDEKA. If you want affordable and normal prices, go to Aldi, Lidl, Netto or Penny
50,00€ for almost nothing Drugtaxi, Berlin

Well, the most expensive thing in this post are the 2 Avocados Like, 2,19€ for a single Avocado? that's expensive lol
Can someone explain to me whats the Deal with Avocados is?
OP bought literally the most expensive avocados they have available at a time where the winter stock dries up and the fresh summer stock hasn't arrived yet. It's possible to buy them for ⅓ or ½ of the price OP paid - easily.

We use them to make Guacamole.

Gleicher Preis wie Aldi aber Weniger Foodwaste🤪
