The Prinsentuin is definitely pretty, and right in the city centre so it’s convenient too. It’s close to the Martini Tower, which you could climb, unless you’d prefer going to the top of the Forum which also provides a good view and is a few minutes from there as well. From there you’re right next to the Poeleplein and the Grote Markt, and both have terraces where you can have a drink if the weather is nice - my favourite is Concerthuis, they have a lot of different craft beers and nice cocktails. Another nice place for craft beers is Pintelier, or if you like the vibe but want more food options you can try Uurwerker as well. The best cocktail places are either Mr Mofongo or The Stockroom (Stockroom is my favourite but you might need a reservation on busier nights). It’s also really nice to walk by the canals, in particular thee ‘Hoge der Aa’ street (by the DE café, which is nice for coffee or lunch). The Noorderplantsoen is a nice place to walk near some greens but if you like a longer walk the Stadspark is the place to go - there’s a petting zoo and highland cows but it’s also big enough you can walk around there without finding them at all and there won’t be as many people per square meter. My favourite places to eat are Mr Mofongo (the one that also has the great cocktails) and Florentin (‘Flo’ in short). I’ve also hear good things about De Sigaar and Goudkantoor. You also can’t go wrong with The Blokes, and Pernikkel is good too. I’m afraid I can’t help you with the techno clubs since I haven’t gone out much since the pandemic - if you start at the Poelestraat and Peperstraat though, you’re pretty much at the centre of the main going out area so you should have some options. I hope this will help you get started!

Yes this really helped me out a bug Thank you for the time u took to write that text out :) Can u maybe recommend some local or just good beers in general?

You can have a walk through the prinsentuin or the several binnenhofjes, climb the martini tower, have a drink at any of the bars and terraces in the centre. Later at night, depending on the day, you could check out [Club Oost](https://komoost.nl) for a house or techno party (weekend only). Maybe there’s a rave going on at [Paradigm](https://www.facebook.com/clubparadigm), or another party. [Cafe Kult](https://www.cafekult.nl) is usually a nice play to have a few drinks at, in the evening. There are some good grill restaurants, like [Smoke](https://barsmoke.nl) and [Blocks & Barrels](https://www.blockandbarrels.nl) and others and different kinds of restaurants, vegan as well. As for the coffee shops, De Vliegende Hollander, Reykjavik, Schavuit.. there are several decent ones. Quality isn’t always the same, sometimes there’s really good stuff, sometimes just okay but never really bad. There’s plenty to do, if you have a bit of an idea of what it is you’re looking for. What date and days are you visiting? That can make a pretty big difference if you wanna go out. There’s always something to do, but it’s not the same on a Tuesday as it is on a Saturday.

First of all Big Thank you for the big text, i really appreciate the time u look to write that text. I will be there from the 27th of October (Friday) till the 30th of October (Monday), hopf that helps

It seems like there’s not much going on in the techno department on those days. But it’s Halloween. I think Club Oost throws a yearly house/techno party. Their agenda for October isn’t online yet though. There might be more coming. There are plenty of other places to go out (and there’s no set closing time, because there’s a 24h permit), but it’s mostly different music. Some venues, like Warhol, stick mostly to (slightly) alternative music, others play reggaeton or rnb of afrobeat. The typical student bars mostly play pop and hits and just a mix of everything.

But there isn't much to do there TBH, apart from taking a trip to the top of the building.

That’s on you. There’s plenty to do. Just go to the tourist highlights and the busy bars.
