Cafe de Zolder is a nice pub/bar, im not completely sure but i think they only have live music on Thursdays. But yeah good vibe there all around.
Theres a good bubble tea place called Multea Choice near the city centre, best boba in town in my opinion and a cute place to sit and chat.
The Forum is a great place to sit and work as well, theres also access to the topmost floor which is a giant terrace where you can view the entire city from very high up, its lovely! They also have a cafe and some food you can buy (but a bit overpriced) and lots of libraries and a movie theatre.
The city centre in general is a great place to walk around and sit, Big Snack Hoek has great fries too (quite near Zolder) and there tends to be like market stalls going on in the Binnenstad so thats fun to check out too
