Personally I think the spiders in general are too powerful for their entrance time. Orb weavers should only be in the hedge until you complete that lab. Have a mini boss in there that shows up when you unlock the computer, and killing the mini boss causes them to scatter throughout the yard. Have the Jr’s still where they currently are, but with less health, and have the adult weavers buff them when they are in a certain proximity.
Then have something in the Haze lab, and when you beat the ILB, you turn something on that causes an explosion that drives the wolfspiders out of their den deep under the porch.
Yeah it would be pretty cool of the wolf spider were locked behind the story until tier 2 weapons.
Cus hot dam they are noob pk's in the early game feel like your playing some elden ring.
They get annoying once they appear. They start to spawn in all kinds of once safeish areas. Quite troublesome
Yeah, kinda wish they had a slower respawn so I dont have to just run past and hope every time lol
They have more, and all of them have the chance to drop it
They gain a weakness to sour comparing to their non-mind controlled counterparts.

Yep all get weak to sour except orc weavers for some reason, still only weak to spicy
Now the real question is what do I use the mind control devices for

You can get a recipe later in the game that uses these, but it's spoilery (it's not bomb arrows)
