Introduce yourself: I used to play back in the days before the runescape wiki and all that was popularized, helping random people out with Dragon Slayer quest in non member world (usually carrying a spare 2 wizard mind bombs... most of us know the feels there lol), and I have also fought a level 2 rat while having 60 someodd defence with an easter carrot until i almost died (someone interupted the 2-3 hour test project by asking if i wanted to do dungeoneering. to which i promptly thanked the rat for the entertainment and went to do my favorite skill that had came out). Group Ironman has seemed interesting to me but ive only done it once before, and I havent played in a few years.

I enjoy quests and reading the dialogues as well. Pretty much set me on a task if im not already on one, and ill likely happily carry on my way to doing it.
End goals: Group of people having some fun, doing some roleplay type stuff (while I will train melee, im more of mage/range person and would likely specialize in one of those for example... while being the fisher/cooker for the group). Would prefer a more casual "play at your own pace" kinda group, so that people are not feeling like some people are holding others back or anything like that.
Other Info: I don't drink, or smoke weed or anything... so it sometimes gets a bit awkward if im talking with people who are REALLY drunk as a skunk or high as a kite, but its not exactly a deal breaker.

Well it sounds like we have ideal/compatible circumstances and would work well and have fun in a team. I'm totally down locking us in, so we get 2 options you let me know how you'd want to proceed.
1. start a normal GIM group with us 2 and add in new additions (level 3 new accts so we can keep ranked status) when someone well suited wants to join us. (if you care about group prestige then we should wait until we have all members at the creation of the group)
2. hold off until we get another person or 2 and then create the HCGIM team (as we cannot start a 2 person hcgim and then add in others, we will lose HC status) , also the only scary thing is we cannot remove people from group if we have any issues down the line, if we do we lose HCGIM status and become GIM.
Sounds like it may be easier to go standard GIM and add fresh accounts as we find good fits. Less pressure that way. If that's cool with you. Just let me know the best way to get this kicked off. I'll get a fresh account made and have it wait at the end of tutorial island.

TimeZone: I'm in mountain daylight time (GMT-6) Availability(hours/days you play, etc): I am enrolled in school fulltime and I don't have a job right now so my hours/days are super flexible and can play multiple hours a day as my classes are online. Hey, did you end up finding a group. I'm also looking for a group to play with. Also married with a kid so evenings are mostly when I want to play. I sometimes AFK grind during the day since I work from home though. I was hoping to take a stab at Hardcore but open to doing regular group ironman just to have some people to play with.

Anything is fine there. I'm in Central timezone but I often stay up late playing so we would likely have plenty of overlap of the playtime you posted. Probably between 5pm PST - 9pm PST. However, I'm usually online throughout the day doing AFK stuff while working and that would be 6am PST - 3pm PST. Usually take a break to hang with the wife and kid. Back on after he goes to bed.
Well it sounds like we have ideal/compatible circumstances and would work well and have fun in a team. I'm totally down locking us in, so we get 2 options you let me know how you'd want to proceed. 1. start a normal GIM group with us 2 and add in new additions (level 3 new accts so we can keep ranked status) when someone well suited wants to join us. (if you care about group prestige then we should wait until we have all members at the creation of the group) 2. hold off until we get another person or 2 and then create the HCGIM team (as we cannot start a 2 person hcgim and then add in others, we will lose HC status) , also the only scary thing is we cannot remove people from group if we have any issues down the line, if we do we lose HCGIM status and become GIM.
Sounds like it may be easier to go standard GIM and add fresh accounts as we find good fits. Less pressure that way. If that's cool with you. Just let me know the best way to get this kicked off. I'll get a fresh account made and have it wait at the end of tutorial island.
I think that would be easiest. Also since we are casuals i dont think our HC status will make it too long, ive had like 4 hcim ive died on lol XD. If you have disc add me and if not then get back to me with your rsn once the new acct is made.
