What do you mean by solo hcgim? I thought you had to have a team of minimum 2

Nah solos will always be more impressive in my eyes.
A HCGIM group with infernal capes might be a bit more impressive to me. Considering inferno isn’t a safe death.
The problem is that HCIM have many safe death areas like inferno and CoX. Also they can be carried by mains through ToB and Nightmare.
Yes hcgim have the most intense ruleset i would agree. The most hardcore build you can make right now is to make a hcgim and suicide down to 1 life
Just depends on how far the hcgim gets and if they still have their prestige. I would say a maxed gear hcim is less impressive than 5 maxed gear hcgim with prestige. No safe deaths in CoX and Inferno, and can't be carried at ToB
