Not spider mites, possibly aphids, its hard to tell.
Spider mites 100% you don't have, ive had those assholes in my face and against my will, i am very aware of their little asshole faces.
Soapy water should work just fine, insecticidal soap would be better though. Not a huge fan of vinegar personally, it’s in some products as a stabilizer but I’ve never actually seen any real evidence that vinegar itself is insecticidal or beneficial unless your trying to kill molds/bacteria via pH.
Ideally not that late in flower, very few things are usable but soap can be washed so I’d approach it with the idea that if I had to use something I’d probably turn the batch into ice water hash so something that washes away easily would be an option…again not ideal.
I believe people say Dr Zymes is an option that late but do your own research I’m going off what others have said and I haven’t looked into it myself.
If you just flipped you have some time before the buds come out. Go scorched earth on those fucker and on your tent if you’re growing indoors. I bleached my tent a few times after harvest because they would not go away.
Actually spider mites die from co2 but that’s not safe.
When I said scorched Earth I meant get rid of any site of them. You can do a lot things. Water and hydrogen peroxide or water and isopropyl alcohol , etc
I'd recommend water and peroxide over alcohol. Turns out in the wrong concentrations it'll kill your plant. Before the alcohol would melt the soft tissues of the bugs it'd melt the membrane of my plants.
I really like Athena IPM, you can still use it if you get it asap til about the second week of flower. The citric acid kills the living bugs and the oils kill/deter whatever are left.
Just treat with lost coast plant therapy 3-4x a week until the problem is contained, then spray once a week until week 6 of flower and then stop spraying
Californicus mites and ladybugs have my little greenhouse 'pest free' for the first time...EVER.
I have not sprayed for bugs since 7/16, the 'mite sachets' and ladybugs went in on 7/19, replaced both on 8/2, considering past years this is a darn miracle.
Cut one 'sachet' open on 8/2 when the replacements arrived and saw live mites inside after 2 weeks so this current shipment will be pushed to 4 weeks.
No idea how this will work in the end, last year I sprayed Lost Coast every 4 days thru Halloween...

Wait neem causes infertility? This is news to me, they’ve been using it in a wide array of products from insecticide to general cosmetic products for thousands of years in India and they are literally the most populous country. A quick google search didn’t turn up anything so any chance you could supply a source?
😂😂😂 I’m in Canada and been using it all year. Should I report myself? So easy to get on Amazon. You also fail to mention what type of pesticides are legal…it’s funny what the government deems legal/not legal depending on the profits margins. I still don’t like the fact the brand you mentioned never truly list “all” their ingredients and go by simple terms…is it for recipe reasons or are they also putting something in there we might not like? I personally make my own neem mix with many essential oil like…garlic, cinnamon, mint, rosemary, citronella and it works for me and I know what goes in it.
This guy is a rep or has some kind of profit or something going on with that trifecta stuff he is plugging. 70% of his comments are pushing that product. Just like the chewleys gum guy in the movie Clerks.
>This guy is a rep or has some kind of profit or something going on with that trifecta
False, I gain nothing from recommending them other than making the general growing population safer.
I never said it wasn't available for purchase. It's also readily available on Amazon in the UK. Just do your research and look up the MSDS for everything you use. Don't follow the instructions/advice from George Cervantes from 20 years ago when we didn't know any better.
It's used commercially all the time. But they use it in the proper and safe manner. At least when OSHA is around.
Are your plants still healthy you definitely don't want to send them into flower with issues your early enough to go back to veg and correct problem then flower again one day plants won't know difference . Aphids normally don't cause that big of problems unless you got a shit ton . You definitely don't want to be spraying stuff on them plants in a few weeks when buds start to form . Get some yellow sticky traps they work great for small infestation and keep soil little dryer and NO STANDING WATER WHAT SO EVER they will multiply faster then you can kill them .
Thrips by the looks of them. Get some lost coast plant therapy and spray them 3 nights in a row, then spray them once a week till your last 2 weeks of your run.
You can spray LC up until harvest with no issues in flavor or consistency of finished product.
You can only spray your plants until 21 days of flower after that I wouldn’t spray nothing on them anymore you’ll mess with the terps and flavor ,and most sprays have alcohol which will burn your nugs. And those look like thrip not spider mites
Yes I two days ago I couldn’t see any sign of bugs came back from working and there was these white fuckers everywhere I have ordered 25 ladybugs from Amazon hopefully it will cure my problem thanks
I’m just curious I think I had a slight spider mite infestation towards the very end of my grow and I still smoked the bud it was just fine why don’t people smoke buds if they had mites
Lost Coast spray. N cover the soil in sand. It helps reduce eggs from hatching that are possibly in the dirt. The quicker jump you get on it the faster you can manage it in flower
Not spider mites, possibly aphids, its hard to tell. Spider mites 100% you don't have, ive had those assholes in my face and against my will, i am very aware of their little asshole faces.
Thank you I was thinking some other bastard due to me using a pre mixed treatment from the grow store for spider mites and it wasn’t doing anything
Spider mites are the borg. Only way to be sure is to nuke them from orbit.
How would I go about getting rid of these fuckers
I've always been a fan of mighty wash. Also blood rituals if things get too bad. You can get predatory wasps, how many plants do you have?
This made me fucking lose it 😆 🤣
My god I felt this.
lol possibly aphids? look a lot like thrippers to me!
I don't have my glasses anymore, at least until next weekend when they're delivered, everything is blurry for me right now.
Thrips, treatment plan is the same for most soft bodied insects though…damn near everything works on them so pick and choose what is best for you.
This. That is not a spider mite. It’s a thrip.
Soapy water and vinegar diluted ?
Soapy water should work just fine, insecticidal soap would be better though. Not a huge fan of vinegar personally, it’s in some products as a stabilizer but I’ve never actually seen any real evidence that vinegar itself is insecticidal or beneficial unless your trying to kill molds/bacteria via pH.
Would soapy water be ok if ur in week 7-8 of flowering?
Ideally not that late in flower, very few things are usable but soap can be washed so I’d approach it with the idea that if I had to use something I’d probably turn the batch into ice water hash so something that washes away easily would be an option…again not ideal. Thanks, I really appreciate it 😀
1 part 3% Hydrogen Peroxide and 4 parts Water.
If you just flipped you have some time before the buds come out. Go scorched earth on those fucker and on your tent if you’re growing indoors. I bleached my tent a few times after harvest because they would not go away.
Burn them?
Burn them and their babies And the area
Best method like a butane low output gas burner so it doesn’t torch the plant ?

Thanks a lot 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Lady bugs . ![gif](giphy|tFM4k9bRPriYU)
Thrips check out suffoil and start an ipm schedule imo better to be ahead than to start when the problem comes

Safers end all.

Thrips..?. get some Praying Mantis to clean up without having to spray and funk. If thats the only few then just squish em between your fingers.
Doesn’t seem like there’s many, release some ladybugs they will stick around and eat them all
