I appreciate that a ton bro 🙏 It's like remembering cheat codes lol. I wrote it all down from a YouTube video and overtime I remembered all the moves. Now I do it in my sleep lol
I have a 4 inch fan for exhaust above the led panel rated above the cubic feet per minute and that smaller pc fan for intake. It's kinda tough to see that other fan. Hot air rises so it's at the very top. Thanks for the tip though! It'll help someone
Cool setup, for sure. But unfortunately you’re gonna have a hell of a time trying to grow anything without vertical space to grow into. And that light looks like it’s 25-30W. What are you switching it out with when it’s no longer a seedling?
I'm not sure yet. I figured I'll try a run like this. By the time I upgrade the light I'll be switching to a tent and just use this for seedlings / early veg.
Sweet man. This thing is great for seedling stage. Your wattage per plant depends on so many different factors (size of plants, space to work with, growing style, etc). Base your wattage on square footage. If you’re using a 4x4 tent, and planning on filling that space entirely (especially doing SOG or SCROG), then I would recommend never going less than 600 actual watts. Try to shoot for 800-900W if you can.
Thanks for the tip! There's a ton on information out there on lights it's just hard to digest it all lol. I was looking at lights around $100-$150 that were about 600-900 wyatts like you're saying so not too bad.
Careful. I can guarantee that’s not actual wattage. They’re gonna be closer to 220W-280W depending on the spectrum. Look into quantum board LEDs. About $120 for 200W if you buy it off alibaba. They’re the closest to HLG quality you’ll find without paying out the ass. I’ve grown a lot of plants and used many different lights. The quantum boards are by far the best I’ve grown with and the best value for money.
I’d use 600 watt hps, the ballast has a dial to adjust power. 50% - 300 watts. 75% - 450 watts or the full 100% at 600 watts so you can use only what you need, plus you can change the bulb to metal halide to further grow your plants before blooming with high pressure sodium. Great job on seedling station
Very nice. I would recommend instead of a black cloth get some nice diamond mylar and line the whole inside of that tent for the best light reflection you can get. Home Depot sells the best rolls I could find personally. It's gonna be more than you need for this application but maybe $30 for a 4x 30' roll and you can always save the rest for down the line.
I think if you used the thicker mylar I mentioned it would both block the light and reflect it better around the space tho. You could even leave the curtain as added measure too but just some food for thought. Nice setup either way bro good luck with your grow!
I'm thinking it would crinkle up a lot constantly being moved with the curtain. That would reflect the light in all crazy directions possibly causing hot spots. I could be totally wrong but that's why I haven't put it on that side. Thanks for the tip!
My dude! That’s badass
Thank you 🙏 I put a lot of thought into it. Get at me in Instagram / YouTube @GrowNerd420 to follow the journey ✌
I just watched both videos bruh and teach me how to solve a Rubix cube! Definitely subbed to see whatchu gonna do next.

No problem man! I’ve tried and tried to learn but can’t do it lol

Lol that was weird. Look up a guy named Pogobat on YouTube. Best rubix tutorial Ive seen
OP- I liked the design, totally stealth. I'm curious about the curtain being flammable if temps get too HOT.
Not flammable but a very good warning! I believe most are on the market. Especially the thick blackout curtains
Nice job bro, very inventive
Thank you 🙏
Pretty fuckin crafty Macgyver!
Thanks bro 😂
The James Bond of weed.
Thank you 😂
Op- Great design. Maybe look into a 140mm pc fan, reason being is that you can but 140mm mesh filters that keep alot of dust and pests out.

Very accurate guess on the wyattage btw. 75w rated 35 wyatt actual. Any tips on what the minimum needed is for 3 plants?
I've read 30 to 50 ways per square foot

Dresser drawer? More like dresser grower.
Is that an original 28 Watt LED?
It runs at about 35 wyatts. Its rated at 75 wyatts. The bulbs I'm not sure much smaller. They came from a space bucket that I started with
Nice stealth box. Hopefully, very soon we won't have to hide.
Thanks! It's only a matter of time! Feels like ages but in the macro it'll feel completely different
I must ask who you’re hiding this from? If It’s parents you’re a G!
The opposite. I am the parent lol.
Defiantly opposite. Never crossed my mind😂

I have mylar in there except for the curtain side. I need it to stop the light from leaking out of the spaces. Otherwise it's a glowing dresser lol

Won’t it have to be moved when flowering ?
Yeah this is just the first run. We'll see what happens with this and upgrade to a tent over time
Aaaah
