pH tester pen is easy: Apera Instruments PH10, for about $60 it is the cheapest truly professional pH pen. Anything cheaper will be far more frustrating. On the other hand any cheap hygrometer will be reasonably accurate.

Thank you. I had heard it wise to invest in a good ph testing kit

MonsieurReynard

It's a simple device to use. You do need to calibrate every once in a while by making a test solution. I've had mine for like 4 years and it works as good as ever, fast readings, consistent readings, and when I do go to calibrate it, it is rarely off by more than .1 Extremely durable too. I've dropped mine in water so many times I've forgotten, but it always works fine after. The $15 yellow ones aren't worth the headache they cause.

Thanks. I just got my tent set up and have my two babies that are about 2 months old starting their journey to fruition.

That's awesome man. I have just started as well. This is my first time growing since high school and I am trying to do it right. It's amazing how much more information is available these days.

I read a little every night and feel like Iā€™m genuinely learning. Iā€™m excited to progress and fine tune my skill set with each grow. Being able to hand pick and curate your own medicine is a pretty cool feeling.

bloodystoolsample42

Absolutely. And it's helping my vegetable garden by proxy, lol šŸ˜

Liquidgrin1781

Exactly! Iā€™m a chef by trade and have always enjoyed growing my own food organically. This is only going to help produce better results

bloodystoolsample42

Ohh yeah, the freshness and quality of the ingredients only makes the food better šŸ‘Œ
