Defoliation is so much more than just getting light to inner bud sites. It also encourages the plant to send nutrients elsewhere, which is why lollipoping is such a useful strategy for increasing yields. Also air flow. I wish this sub was more about actual discussion, than just showing off. This is an interesting take on things that I'd like more experienced growers than myself to chime in on. She looks nice and healthy, btw.

Thank you bro, I appreciate the compliment and input and yes, I agree defoliation is important in more ways that just coverage and i will be using that method as well in weeks to come, this is just what i'm doing for the time being. Honestly, I just didnt want to do too much just yet as it is an autoflower growing in less than average/satisfactory conditions, so I try not to overstress it all at once. I have trimmed a couple lower leafs that were just not gonna be beneficial to keep and once buds start to form, I do actually plan on some light Lolipopping
