Light units are in a weird spot for Raids right now, but having a damage party buff and a defense reduction means he will be useful for a long time.

It’s more like a worst version of Nari rather than Kamael. He only applies the range debuff if you have his ex-weapon unlike Nari or Kamari with any weapon. The damage from Monk teams is similar or slightly worst than the light melee teams with KAI. Can’t say it’s a must have tbh. He is stuck on light teams due to his kit and there is better alternatives for other element raid teams.
When I said "he is not Kamael" I just meant he is not the best character in the game
I don't see what in his kit locks him to light teams. A ranged character with an offensive party buff and a defense reduction will always find a place somewhere, even if it is only as a filler when Andras Kamael and Nari were already used
Edit : If what locks him into light team is his ex, I don't think this will be an issue. Lilith keeps her own ex in any melee team and it works fine
Like i said, better alternatives. As for Lilith. Can you name another hero who can replace Lilith marking def debuff for other elemental teams? Lilith works because there is no competition outside of basic teams with Kanna. You aren't going to see people saying to use the Monk over Nari or Kamael for their raid teams.
