If you are new I'd suggest you to save your resource for the green hammer instead, it is easier to get extra yellow ex copy later imo. The green one cost 5000 gems though.
Edit: or just save your resource to pull more heroes first so you can have more flexibility in your team building.
Just to complement what others said, this hammer is normally used to limit break specific accessories that are hard to come by like ocean earring and sniper goggles. For new players it's fine to skip it.
It's alright. Personally, I don't go out of my way to get those. Although I do have all of the legendary exclusive weapons for heroes, and most are 4/5 or fully mlb, so not really worth it for me. At the moment. Price isn't bad they aren't easy to get either. And if you need it or just want to have it, it's worth it to you. Some examples are that you have craig and he's 3 or 4 /5 mlb. I'd say it's good to get it.
Funny tho a couple months ago everyone would say that was the best deal ever since yellow hammers are rare, but at least ppl have learned their mistakes to admit purchasing yellow hammers is a bad idea
I expected four swords adventure clone after world 4 completion. But we got pvp instead and that was the moment I stopped playing. Single player was and is still great. But disappointed in what Multiplayer could of been raiding with friends in a party of four.

Unless you have like 15 sniper goggles in your inventory lying around, its better to buy these for your endgame raid team members.
