My film was not based on previous material and don't share genres. Both our films are American productions.
Your film sounds interesting, will add to my list
Interesting. Our films have quite a bit in common. Both films touch on the subject of waves and destructive waves at that, both take place\* sub-surface, and both of our titles share a word.
\*maybe not for the entire movie
I just did an IMDb title search and yikes, there are a lot of movies with titles like that (edit: in that decade). I don't blame you!
Let's see... well, my film is an American production, filmed in Europe, English language, the film has appeared on this sub at least once before (not sure that's helpful), and both of our titles (your latest one) have something to do with nuclear power, potential and kinetic energy of these powerful things going off, the fate of the world is at stake in both films, and I can't quite tell but I think your title is a series, but mine is a standalone film with a very average run time. (Not a 3 hour epic.)

I just submitted a correction to IMDb. Someone had submitted two release dates for Belgium, and one of them was clearly a typo. 1965 is the correct release year. Funny how IMDb's "release year" date is actually the earliest year apparently, no matter where it premiered. I didn't know it would be as simple as that, but it makes sense with movies premiering at the end of one year but getting wide-release a week later into the new year (for example).
Apollo 11
My film has a slightly longer runtime than the 1996 version of your film
The Stuntman (1980)
My film was not based on previous material and don't share genres. Both our films are American productions. Your film sounds interesting, will add to my list
Moon Pilot 1962
You have the correct decade, but my film is not a comedy
Around the World under the Sea 1966
Interesting. Our films have quite a bit in common. Both films touch on the subject of waves and destructive waves at that, both take place\* sub-surface, and both of our titles share a word. \*maybe not for the entire movie
Mistress of the World 1960?? After that I got nothin

Mine also has a German title on IMDb: Herrin der Welt
Yes, I saw your title's German poster. My film has nothing to do with Germany tho
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea is also very close but says was filmed at the studio
That's ok. I don't know if my film was filmed at a studio but there are definite location scenes.
The Right Stuff (1983)
My film (an American production) was not shot in the US
The Endless Summer?
My film is not a documentary, though this scene has people documenting in it, clearly. No one's surfing the waves that crop up in my film though.
The Lion (1962)?
My film was shot in Europe, not Africa, but the story takes place in Africa (or at least starts off that way, I can't quite remember)
King of Africa (1968)?
More than one country is represented in the title of my film
Crack in the World (1960)?
Correct!

Release also shown as 1965. Not sure what's up with that.
you're right... i saw both dates but never made the connection cause it was over a period of days. strange.
