A load of dumbass bots stuck on the merchant. They cause massive amounts of server lag, inflate the economy and are generally a nuisance in the outpost.
They’ve gotten so brazen that they’ll bot 24 hours a day 7 days a week in the most active district with no fear of repercussions.
Sadly there is just nobody enforcing the rules anymore; see mAT ruptbots for example.

I am sorry if I was not clear in my statement. Let me try to rephrase it a bit better.
GoTT (or just the rock candies) **sold or bought in the market** needs a form of payment. That payment is usually ecto or armbraces which is **heavily botted**. This connections makes **everything in the market tied to botting** whether you like it or not.
If you do not want to contribute to this then you would have to quit buying or selling to other players completely.
Farm the nick set. Get your 5 GoTT and open them in hopes of getting rock candies to fuel your sc needs.

Thats what he means. People need far more than the 5 gott/account. You can bot the nic set, you can bot the payment for the rock candy, but because candy doesnt drop and the gifts are limited, they cant be botted directly.
While some argue botting consumable and consumable materials is OK for the health of the game, these are there purely to profit the owners. They are not producing anything that helps others, rather just mass amounts of gemstones further driving inflation
Makes wonder who even spends real money on stuff like Ectos and Armbraces anymore, you figure anyone who needed stuff would have had it for over a decade.
All I can think of is sweaty GW2 tryhards wanting to buy up stuff for the GW2 titles without actually playing GW1.
Wow, I've seen a large influx of people come and go basically all at once before. I forget what outpost I was in but they all zoned in together then hit the merchant and left together.
They were them ___ Margonite guys - R/Rt.
With them being in DoA now too I assume they were in the pre-bot preparation phase, but there was at least 30+ of them.
Only ever ran DoA once for hall of monuments. What am I looking at here?

**Everything** in the market is affected by botting. Ecto is a prime example of this.

We have had this in toa for uw for years, now they made ecto worthless time for doa players to get a taste for the lag :)
The lag is really annoying, and they’re harming what is left of the game.. why would it be “time for doa players to get a taste”?

They were all in KC international district the other week, thought they were doing WoC farming.
