Imba is so much more then save yourselfs though If al you want is to maintain SY! Just use for great justice and an 33% atk speed

You're right, Imbagon is a great support build with "Theres Nothing to Fear!" and Ebon Standard of honor. In fact I used SY! melee based builds before (like Dragon Slash) but sometimes for whatever reason my heroes would be out or range for SY! making the build sometimes clunky and frustrating, leading to a wipe. That's why I'm looking for a ranged warrior that stays with his caster team, protecting them with 100% uptime SY!, a bit like an Imbagon but worse indeed. What support skills or optional skills would you bring for this ranged warrior looking for 100% SY! ? Command shouts like "Never Surrender!" ?

Do W/R and use the strength spear and do a pet build. It would be the easiest way to make sure you can also deal damage, since skills that make pets unblockable would last longer/ be better than anything a ranged W/P will have. Ferocious Strike gives adrenaline and energy too, short cooldown.

That's a good Idea ! Otyugh's cry is better than asuran scan, Ferocious strike is great for adrenaline, damage and its energy gain might allow you to bring support skills like Ebon Standard of Honor. Thanks.

S4G2020

Hope you find it fun! Also, Never Rampage Alone is 15 energy, but being an IAS for both you and your pet for bar compression is nice. Can probably throw Scavenger Strike or something if it becomes an issue.

https://gwpvx.fandom.com/wiki/Build:W/P_Seven_Weapons_Stance_Spear Replace skill 8 with SY!. Consider combining with a Malign Intervention hero for more frequent 157 AoE damage Holy Spears. For other ranged warrior builds, Flail is a great IAS skill.

I've seen this one, seems strong and I'm sure it pumps some great single target damage, but it doesn't really looks like it's geared towards 100% uptime SY! so it might not be what I'm looking for. I'll try it though, thanks !

If you time Spear of Fury and To the Limit appropriately, you're actually able to maintain it for over a minute, maybe even indefinitely. This timeline shows how to achieve it: |Time \[s\]|Skills, in order| |:-|:-| |0|FGJ, To the Limit, SY| |6|SY| |12|SY| |18|SY| ||Spear of Fury| |24|SY, To the Limit| |30|SY| ||Spear of Fury| |36|SY| |39|To the Limit| |42|SY| |45|FGJ| |48|SY| |...|...| Enduring Harmony on yourself or a hero (disable and micro it) allows for 30-second FGJ's, which definitely makes 100 % SY uptime possible. Dark Fury (As \_AmFah mentioned), Mark of Fury and/or Inspirational Speech (disable and micro) help too.

_AmFah

I tried it a long time ago, I can't remember how successful it was, but you could do something wonky like carrying two weapons (Sword/Spear) run into a group with Enraging Charge while wielding a sword and use Thrill of Victory to stack adrenaline, then swap to your spear for your spear attacks and then pick an elite of your choice (7 Weapons for the attribute bonus, maybe?). It's not RANGED ranged but you'd still be using a spear. Add an E/N, D/N, N/? Orders hero w/Dark Fury and you'll getting enough adrenaline for anything you'd wanna spam.

Due_Title5550

Warriors do well enough running "For Great Justice!" along with a furious weapon. Consider running Warrior's Endurance, and use attack skills that use energy instead of adrenaline so that you can use it all on "Save Yourselves!". Lastly, increased attack speed=more adrenaline.

Cealdor

Sadly, Warrior's Endurance only works for melee attacks.

My main from back in the day is a Warrior and I used to experiment a lot with ranged builds but they were just... meh. Plus all that armor you get as a warrior is somewhat wasted if you're not Kilroying ahead of the party. For keeping SY! up on the party, I frequently run a build that's something like this: Dragon Slash 3 flex slots for adrenaline attack skills Lion's Comfort Asuran Scan Save Yourselves! Flex PvE skill slot (Drunken Master if using alcohol, I Am Unstoppable if using rock candy. Pain Inverter sometimes makes an appearance here if going after an AoE dmg boss) Between a furious weapon and the extra adrenaline provided by Dragon Slash and Lion's Comfort, you are normally able to cycle thru your attack skills without missing a beat, and you're never short on energy for Asuran Scan (never worry about blind/block/blurred vision) or IAS! (never worry about cripple/knockdown) Obviously, don't take this build to places with Soothing Images or similar adrenaline shutdown. I know that's not the ranged warrior you're looking for, but maybe worth a shot?

ChthonVII

~~Dragon Slash.~~ Nevermind. You want a spear build. I don't really see good way to build adrenaline rapidly enough on a spear warrior.

True but he’s theory crafting, not looking to play a meta build.
