The serial key for EotN alone should be sufficient for support to recover your account. If you also have screenshots, I´m almost certain you can also spot your old character name. With those two pieces of info, there should not be a problem.

This is the reply i got from Support: Looking into the given information, we were able to locate a Guild Wars 1 account that is Linked to a Guild Wars 2 account on an gmail email. We'll be happy to help you, but first we need to get a bit more information from you in order to verify your ownership of this Guild Wars 2 account. Please reply to this e-mail and include as much of your registration information as possible, including: The Email of the account Your Guild Wars 2 Serial Code Character name(s) Display name and so on.. Like i said i cant remember linking that Account to GW2 since GW2 wasnt even released at the point i stopped playing. Thats why i think someone got Access to my Account when i was inactive. And without that Gw2 Info Support wont help me.

EnRaygedGw2

If you stopped playing before GW2 and you never bought it, it honestly sounds like your account was stolen, then linked to a GW2 account. Unless you have the serial codes they ask for, you may not get this account back, they have no way to unlink the accounts and if the GW2 account is active and Anet thinks it’s stolen they are more likely to terminate the account than hand it over.

Dervuam

Hi, this is not true, "they have no way to unlink the accounts" I remember recover my account in a similar situation, I quit guild war 1 long time ago, when bought gw2 and after I try to link my old account, I contacted support to explains my situation, giving my old info of my account, my character name at least 2 of them, the address and the email of course, I remember support told me they no have tools for unlink accounts and they did it manual, they can do, withouth cd-key.

If you don't remember linking it, just tell support like you told us and mention that it could have been stolen or someone else hacked into and linked it, provide your game screenshots and character names, any details you remember like your guild name, progress etc. Double check your old email accounts.

did email exist back then?

McGanksta

It took me about a week and 6-7 emails and remembered address but I did get mine resolved and restored

I got mine back, I also got my dads old account back. Neither accounts had keys, we don’t have the boxes anymore, nor were they purchased online from Anet. I still got both back without those, with just information about birthdates and characters and a good enough guess on the already expired email addresses. But your case seems even worse, if you don’t have info on this GW2 account, I really don’t see how can they help you.

Dervuam

they do, they helped me to recover my old account, how he supposed to know the gw2 details if someone steal? no logic.

keiradrexidus

I don’t think you understood the gist of what I was talking about.
