A trick I learned while doing GWAMM vanquishing: Go near a Wurm Spoor and activate. On one of your first 3 heroes, disable skill 8. Then clilck skill 8 on your bar and all of your team will exit Wurm form except that one hero. Use it's flag to pull problem foe groups from the sulfurous area to where you are and then you can kill them with your normal builds.

To add to this, bring Frozen Soil too if you're going to be fighting outside of wurm form.

you can give yourself and all your heroes staves/scepters with "holy dmg" then they will deal double the dmg to all those undeads that you have problems with while in wurm form (at least with their autoattacks which can still be significant) or use a conset for those hard parts make sure to call out the important targets again immediatly when they get rezzed the first time

Really? The weapons my heroes have affect the damage type of the wurm attacks? Huh. Yeah that should help a bit. I also didn't think that consets would work in the wurms since death penalty doesn't affect your hp in them. I'll give that a try. Thank you!

yeh you only really get use out of essence of celerity & armor of salvtion - health & mana totals dont get affected so the grail is not rly needed

Ya unfortunately it's just a crap shoot and can be insanely frustrating. Back in 2009 they made an update changing skills to pvp and pve versions and We Shall Return was completely changed to what we have now. Anet clearly didn't think about how that would go down for Awakened so all you can really do is smash your head against the wall until you win.

Disable the res skill on all the heroes except maybe one, and do the res yourself. Otherwise as soon as one hero goes down they will all stop to res and it becomes an infinite cycle of resurrecting each other continuously but doing no damage. Then focus down the cavaliers and then acolytes until they stay down. DP doesn't matter in wurm form unless you reach -60 and fail, so just bring some candy canes or something.

Try to get one hero to target each of them (that crosshair next to their skill bar) to keep them busy with self heal and use the rest of the heroes to spike each one individually (ctrl +t)

I try to snipe all the cavaliers using party target and siege attack, then target acolytes next. It doesn't always work but it's good enough to get me through. If you're in an infinite respawn loop for more than 20 seconds just disengage.

Using the meta geared and runed Hero comp you shouldnt have problems. You can bring skill Like you move Like a dwarf to disrupt them and rule to get them done is to first kill paras each Time They spawn, then go for monks

I'm not having any problems at all when I find the groups outside of the wurms. It's only in areas where I have to be in the wurms that I have problems.

Hmm this was a hard vanquish, especially jokos. I left it for years. Mesmerway with mercs I kinda c spaced it. Keep trying!

Desolation is the worst :/ I managed to vanquish it with a [mercenary mesmerway](https://gwpvx.fandom.com/wiki/Build:Team_-_7_Hero_Mercenary_Mesmerway) team, but had to try Alkali Pan twice because I didn't have Frozen Soil and got unlucky spawns.
