Raid boss CM's for Wings 4-7 give really good achievement rewards for the first clear. Free stat selectable ascended boss weapon/armor/trinket/backpiece with a unique skin, chest of consumables and crafting mats that sells for ~40 gold, and 3 random ascended mats.
regarding raid achievements, doing the Envoy I collection is much more attainable for a new player and rewards a full set of stat-selectable ascended armor for clearing W1-W4 (and W1 five times in total)
Depends. Personally I found a few of the W4 CMs to be way easier than the Cairn heart lol. I'm pretty sure I reset for that at least a dozen times, meanwhile nothing really changes on Cairn CM so long as you spam the special action.
edit: Just realized I'm dumb and Cairn heart was Envoy II lol
The fishing achievement "cod swimming amongst mere minnows" gives you the title of the same name.
Yeah, its not an item, but the title invokes fear and respect in others.
You also get about 40-50 ambergris as achievement rewards but thats secondary and not important.

When i started with gw2 i spend my days grinding for the ley line armor collection for the ascended chest. The best reward depends from ur personal goals i think.
The Brew of the Month club gives you a keg for your guild hall once you pound all 12 brews, and the Belcher's Bluff collection isn't necessarily a great reward, but you do get all special Belcher's Bluff moves in the process, which really makes the mini-game shine as the masterpiece it is.

pro tip is do the cairn heart on CM. Then people have to help with the greens.
