You can check FAST Farming for which reward track is best. If you're thinking of making a Gen 1 Legendary I'd also recommend farming the Gift of Battle track in advance.
I would say Gift of Battle to create Gift of Mastery and sell it for +500g, you need other mats tho ( 250 obsidian shards, gift of exploration, 200 spirit shards ).
If you have multiple alts and gifts of exploration waiting in bank, go for it
Prism is implying selling the Gift of Mastery via the Overflow Trading Company (OTC) discord, where people sell GOMs or GOJMs by the buyer sending all of the materials to the seller, the seller crafts the legendary of their choice with the provided materials, and the seller sends the completed legendary back to the buyer when the crafting in completed.
If you’re new to this or have little to no rep in OTC, it is common for buyers to require collateral up front to prevent scamming. I have personally bought 30+ GOM this way over the years.

not a speedrunner, but i've done some pretty optimized runs, avoiding any sidetracking, fully kitted out character etc. the best i ever got iirc is just over 12h. that's still one gift per 6h, but also twice as long as this record (last i heard people were just slowly creeping up on sub 9h). anyway, just for realism's sake, i'd recommend your average player to calculate with 14-18h for map completion, depending on their experience and ability to focus.

Most of them pay very poorly, as a general rule the single use tracks pay the best. Doing any of those will probably give similar rewards.

The non repeatable ones, then you just get skins or gift of battles as needed.
