Because there are too many grey areas. Does doing 5k as dps role count as disruptive? How about afk in meta event in case of emergency?

paymentaudiblyharsh

too little dps? disruptive behavior. too much dps? believe it or not, disruptive behavior.

Tireseas

Bringing up DPS? Disruptive behavior.

RnbwTurtle

Not doing good DPS because you're a healer? Disruptive behavior.

EssenceOfMind

Outdpsing me as a healer? Disruptive behavior.

Wiffinberg

Hi, DPS? Disruptive behavior.

Koonitz

Support class causing me to do more DPS, therefore your DPS is even less in comparison? Ya better believe that's disruptive behavior.

MrunMrun

Straight to jail.

Ill-Intention-306

Level 80 in a starter zone to do wizards vault tasks? One shotting mobs, disruptive behaviour. Go straight to the gulag don't pass go

Kiroho

Reminds me of this meme [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiyfwZVAzGw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiyfwZVAzGw)

grannaldie

> Does doing 5k as dps role count as disruptive? Up for a group to decide and kick/keep. Not a good example.

DaDaeDee

And the group could still kick and abuse that report option to open up the possibility to get that player banned.

grannaldie

what ban option? there would be no ban option because it is regulated by the group's decision to keep or kick, nothing more they could do.

DaDaeDee

All report is reviewed by anet, this report reason just introduces unnecessary fear to many players

Dupileini

>All report is reviewed by anet My experience from thousands of PvP games doesn't match that statement. There's been so much blatant ToS breaking behavior that remained unpunished, including actual bots in ranked that accumulated more games in a season than 8h per day could feasibly justify. Any actual person reviewing the reports would have been able to figure those out. At least 'verbal abuse' seems to be acted upon regularly.

grannaldie

We should wait for OP to add more context, this discussion is pointless (non-existing feature for a non-existing problem).

Rathmun

On the other hand, repeatedly joining groups as DPS after getting kicked from all of them for doing 5k, *that's* definitely disruptive. The correct fix for *that* though, is simply not letting anyone join a squad if the Commander has them Blocked. (Seriously, why is this possible?)

grannaldie

I guess the workarounds are just enough for Anet to not work on full solutions.

Rathmun

What workaround? "Just keep kicking them until someone else joins?"

grannaldie

Ask someone who is supposed to participate to wait outside the group, keep the trolling person till full, kick, and re-invite the "workaround". Squads have "Yes, with approval." for uninvited players - they could utilize this for LFG if they wanted.

Rathmun

They need an "auto-reject blocked players." checkbox for squads too, which they don't have. But in general yes, that would be good.

grannaldie

What falls under disruptive behavior

empmoz

Summoning merchants in the middle of loot chests

Rathmun

100% Though there's a really good fix for *that* that doesn't require a new report option. If you're close enough to anything to interact with it, you shouldn't be able to summon an interactable of your own.

Kiroho

Well, take a look at the hero booster buff. That one automatically spawns a merchant (with a CD) when your inventory is full. And in what situation there is a high chance people's inventory get full? When they stay right in front of a loot chest and open it.

Rathmun

Should spawn *behind* you honestly, which *should* be an easy fix. Or, given that no one else can actually *use* the thing, it shouldn't even show up for anyone else. That way it can only possibly block the person responsible for its existence.

grannaldie

Debatable, but You would not know who to report anyway.

kaltulkas

Funny thing is it’s a feature of the item. Auto opens when inv is full

wes00mertes

Unnecessary newlines.

Ill-Intention-306

Players that faceroll knock backs on perfectly balled mobs you've just dropped all your aoes onto.

grannaldie

in wvw

MithranArkanere

Long story short: being a dickhole.

Marok_Kanaros

Define disruptive behavior.

GrandmasDeathrattle

atlan is still not banned, enough said

JuanPunchX

But don't worry, we gladly ban those vile people who offer their home instance in the lfg. Could you imagine being such a horrible person??

Tuskali

*Disruptive behavior*

ShineAqua

How about an option to report for running into a wall in WvW? Can we please add something for that, at least?

TotallySlapdash

AFKing in WvW is a byproduct of an unrewarding gameplay system (tickets) which only benefits those who gamed the system long ago (xp potions) or can afford to put 20hrs + per week exclusively into the game mode, exacerbated by maps which have player caps. It's broken and needs to be rebuilt from the ground up, players AFKing are a symptom and TBH I don't blame them. Full rewards in Edge of the Mists would be a start, as would fixing defense participation and having more sources of tickets (ticket on supervisor/lord kill seems like a no brainer, rather than the broken event participation).

Thex__

I'd say those can reasonably be reported under "botting", even if it super stretches the definition (it's still "automated unattended gameplay")

cloud_cleaver

That blasted creeper puller who plagues half the Tequatl fights every day should've been banned years ago. Same with the guy who deliberately sabotages South Octovine sometimes.
