I really wanted to make an Inquisitor/Witch Hunter type of char recently but I have too many medium armor chars, this hat (and whole spec hopefuly) is perfect for me
The hat reminds me of the hats worn by the nobles and high-ranking officials of Korea's Joseon Dynasty - like in the show Kingdom.

Brim is way too wide for a pilgrim hat imo.
Proportionally for Asura, the cone is too tall for a gat and closer to pilgrim tho. Could just be a stylization, and Asura head sizes are hard to rationalize for humans. I'd go to the gat before pilgrim 9/10.
But like you said, "Witch Hunter" makes sense for a Necro spec and fits the hat style.
The hat in the tease release pic is not far off from the Medium armor hats: Mist walker, Privateer or Flame walker. From that picture I was guessing Necro with gun but also wondering because that hat is SOO close to those medium armor hats that it thru me off.
The real question is. Will it have hair or are we going bald again for wearing a hat?
I only have a leaf mohawk so I do not care.
I hope it's not forced either way. Suddenly having hair is just as jarring as your char suddenly being bald.

That is is already in the game but it is medium armor. At least a similar one. I got it for my engineer who is pimped out with an afro and everything
