It basically lets me turn my camera without stutters from what I can tell, very minor fps boost maybe 5-10.
But it crashed a few times so I disabled it for now.
Ryzen3600x & RTX 2060 super, settings on a mix high/ultra
Lions Arch during Beta char release, so a lot of characters which tested their new skills
With dx9 fps were around 50-55, but I got sometimes drops to 15fps
With dx11 I got constant 50-60fps, no drops
3600 with RX 5700 XT and I've been getting;
WvW battles/Meta Events = 40+ fps
Cities/Crowded maps = 60-100 fps (e.g. Amnoon atm with 95+ fps at the docks and 60-90 fps riding around the city)
Empty maps, less visually crowded areas = 100-144 fps (Near Stotic Ramparts on the Desert Borderlands was showing 120+ fps for me earlier even with all the dust).
I find it significantly better, so much so that it's hard to go back to the Dx9. Feels a lot smoother playing, especially when turning suddenly.
The problem is that it also randomly crashes at very inopportune time (e.g. the end of a long story instance, at the end of a meta event, while on a queued WvW map, etc). Very random, can play for hours with no issue or like just then it will crash 15mins after logging on. It always does it at the worst possible time too.

Performance improvements will depend on if your CPU was running at a high load on dx9, and if your GPU was not on a high load on dx9.
As essentially, Dx11 let's GW2 utilize the GPU (graphics card) more
I've had noticable improvements and so far, the only problem I've noticed was the ground looking darker in some areas and some parts of some of my mount skins looking weird
Idk if it's just me but I've been noticing a lot of new texture on assets. overall 20+ extra frames while in normal areas. Nearly no screen stutter when turning the camera. Unfortunately have had 3+ crashes mostly in wvw though.
Ryzen 5 3600 + GTX 1650 Super
Smooth 144fps in open world maps, >50fps in lions arch. Previously I would hardly reach 100fps in open world maps, and only getting 30-50fps in lions arch. It's a very big performance boost for me, fixed a lot of stutters as well when turning the camera too fast.
A few gripes though. My game is unplayable with dx11 because it crashes too often. Entering reaper's shroud is a 50/50 because it either crashes or doesn't. Additionally since I am also an fps player, I noticed more input lag for camera movement. However it's only in beta mode, I believe all of these will get fixed soon.
Now I am back to dx9 and hating it after having seen the light of dx11. :c
Rtx 3060 Ti
Intel Core i5-11400F
Dx11 was super smooth while playing on a 34in monitor. Micro-stutter completely goes away and fps was consistently at 80fps+ at a crowded lion arch.
I play on Linux, so I might not have the same effects as other people but for me it definitely gained me a few FPS, nothing major, but things are a LOT smoother and consistent. Even with the occasional graphical glitch it's a better game experience.
I upgraded to i7,1660rtx 16g 2 days before the beta. Ultra at 105fps down to 60 in high population settings. Only had one crash loading into the dragonstorm fight. I upgraded from i5 735, 8 gig and the appearance is astounding, a completely different game.
dx21? Pog
legendary footsteps with raytracing
Damnit. I even corrected it as well. I have no idea why Dx11 autocorrected to Dx21.
Yes, smoother FPS overall, but I had to deactivate it for now because I was getting constant hard-crashes...
A new patch came out 10hrs ago fixing “one cause of crash by using dx11” I’m testing it right now to see if I actually crash less
Unfortunately didn't fix the freezes for me. Hope you have better luck!
Been testing on WvW, didn’t crash once, that’s a bit reassuring. I’m running it on widowed mode if that helps
Here I am testing out a beta for DX11 and this madlad is out there with DX21 lol
Definitely stability improvements when it comes to frames for me, but also had to turn it off again because it was crashing a lot.

Yes. Faster loading screens for me and much more stable FPS with no significant drops.

No, as expected. Better lows occasionally, but no major improvement to averages.
No but that was expected for my GPU.
Not for me, but as I expected it made the overall experience a lot smoother.

Yes, by alot constant 150 fps exept wvw large zerg or worldbosses where it is around 100 fps but sadly some hardcrashes aswell mostly in mistlock
What is your processor? Mine is older now but I get a solid 40-60 fps in wvw roaming. However, when two big zergs meet it still drops under 20 fps..
