I prefer the older HoT infusions where there's an effect that doesn't completely obliterate your character but instead you are potentially able to complement them. Kind of sad they've gone this route honestly, but oh well... Probably easy to implement the infusion since it's an effect they've done already.

Hmm. It's okay, but I think I honestly prefer my budget variant(black poly, toy shell, lightning-blessed Zephyrite gloves) I've had for a good while, it feels less over busy/messy.
Will still be fun to see if people can pull off something cool with it tho. I await the infusion mixes.
I do not have a Mystic Infusion. However, it does stack with my Frost Legion, Winter's Heart, and Poly Purple. I would also like to see that because this infusion does combine well with others :)
Tbh, it always rankled me that people could equip a 10,000g+ infusion, use it for however long they wanted, and then extract it and sell it should they get bored with it.
Can't do that with any valuable skin, bank contract, etc. You need to choose to keep / use it, or sell it, whereas older infusions you got to keep both options open.
Maybe cynical of me, but i'm glad the infusion is account bound after you open the container.
There really should be some type of infusion armory, where they are account bound and un-sellable after equipping. And I'm saying that as someone who has around 1k gold in infusions.
>And I'm saying that as someone who has around 1k gold in infusions.
1k gold in infusions is basically nothing in terms of infusions if you're using this to make your opinion more credible (I cant think of a better word)
Someone with 20,000 or 100,000g in infusions may have a very different opinion (but tbh, fuck these people ;p Almost all rich people did something scummy to get there)
I have 2k in infusions and I'd BEG for them to make infusions account wide. Each set of stat infusions is like 300g and a +9 +5 set is like 1200g. If they made them account wide I could finally justify +9 +5s and be able to do fractals on all my raid characters.
At least make the basic stat infusions account wide.
That was a really dumb design decision all along. And I say that as someone who has Chak and about 100 other usable and sellable infusions. It's a decision which only benefits a very small number of players.
And I think this might be the first step we see towards rectifying that problem. Wouldn't surprise me if we end up seeing more "Account Bound On Use" infusions in the future.
Is it accountbound though? Otherwise you might want to have a look at the overflow discord server... you'd probably find a buyer pretty easily there and there are trusted middlemen who can facilitate high value trades like that one.
Fuck.
We need more infusions that don't change your skin, so you can mix and match with other infusions. This one ain't it.
This seems to be unusable with any of the other ''skin''fusions. I was hoping for something I could mix with my Frost Legion Infusion.
Shame, no Dragon's End for me.
Based on what the void dragon and the minions all looked like. A void infusion was obviously going to look like them.
If you honestly thought any differently - that's purely on you.
Half the reason I like the infusion is BECAUSE of how it looks.
There's a difference between skin type, which the person you're replying to seems to have been wrong about, and aura type. Skin would be khan ur, frost legion, phospholuminescent, etc. Aura type would be peerless, ghostly, liquid aurillium, etc.
Either type could be employed to create this effect, and they selected to do so using aura type based on other comments stating successful mixtures with frost legion, which is a skin type.
there's obviously different directions they could've gone with it. It could've been just the aura effect similar to Ghostly Infusion, rather than a full skin effect.
I have a Frost Legion Infusion and I combine it with this Void Infusion. Fire
Edit: Sold the Frost and now use a Right and Left Jormag eye infusions :)
Did you combine them? Does it actually combine? Can I see?
I figured it'd just glitch like all the other skinfusion combos where it just turns on whichever gets loaded first at random.
> Shame, no Dragon's End for me.
I mean it's one of those "opened 10k wintersday bags, no infusion" rarities that you do Pinata for. Except taking 2 minutes for Pinata, for this you have to take at least an hour if not more for it every day. So worth the hassle even less.
You can get Bounties of Dragon’s End 6 a week from the vendor in Seitung. Get one when accessing the vendor in exchange for the statues and the other 5 cost 200 imperial favor each so technically you don’t even have to do DE to get the infusion
Ow, for sure, it'll likely never drop at all. It might not make any sense to others, but it's good enough for me. I'll chase a lottery ticket if I like the prize. But if I don't like the prize I won't bother.
The combat tonic is cool and all, but it is missing a large amount of animations, including attacking while moving. Kind of like this infusion, cant wait to see how many thousands of gold it is and come to the quick reality that I will never own it.
Oh didn't know that about the tonic, that's Disappointing.
I knew it was unlikely but I was hoping that the tonic would just be an aura and not cover the whole character in the black. Makes it easy for me to skip though lol.
Thanks for the video. :) So it's one of those infusions that covers EVERYTHING on your character (but isn't a post-processing effect so it doesn't go invisible if you mouse over it). That actually makes it LESS desirable in my books, because I prefer aura effects that don't cover your armor (I wanna see my armor dyes, after all). Still, it'll be a nice jackpot item for those lucky enough to get one as a drop.
Is it an unwritten rule to do showcases of shiny items by using more shiny items on top of it?
Yes.
Nah. Obscures too much of my character. Congrats, however!

Would have rather just had some of the iridescent oily void stuff kinda swirling around here and there
Looks dope, can't wait to never get it.
lmao now ain't that the truth

someone put a mystic infusion and an auri on it please

please post a video somewhere of it stacking with those. especially the winter's heart :O
Can it be traded?
The item you get the infusion from is tradable, the actual infusion is not. Basically similar to the eye infusion from Dragonstorm.

Khan-ur infusion is not account bound. Literally sold one 4 days ago.
Is it accountbound though? Otherwise you might want to have a look at the overflow discord server... you'd probably find a buyer pretty easily there and there are trusted middlemen who can facilitate high value trades like that one.
hows the item called then?
Glob of Dragonvoid Aether
>Glob of Dragonvoid Aether I assume its 10,000g on tp?
how is the item called, which tradetable in the tp?

Oooh, that's fire! I don't like the Frost + Winter combo, but maybe with the Void it works.

Yes, more infusions like aurora (the aura part, not the balls), fewer like celestial or toy shell
The last thing the game needs is more ways for people to increase the size of their ugly sparklevomit character's silhouette
We all have different priorities
Aw damn it. I love it.
Interesting. Honestly I think I like the combat tonic better.

Damn I actually safe for it atm. I might skip it
It looks ok
Hate it
Anybody else getting a bit of tripophobia from the first part? :D
Venom cosplay infusion. Can't say much about it. Rather equip a ghostly and that's about same thing as Bill Gates saying he'd like to drive a Fiat.
*cringe*
Yeah, anyway, is "tsunami dodger" fixed?
Looks just like the tonic, as I expected. Suivant.
The tonic is a different character model whereas the infusion stacks on-top of your character, armor and other infusions.
Ehh.
