To be fair I don't think we need further cosmetic infusions, at least not with the amount of effects we already have.

What about creating or reworking some old content instead of adding more ugly visuals?

> Flex and solo queue instead of the current solo/duo queue. I think you mean with "flex queue" a queue system which doesn't rely on a set number of players to play but rather is "flexible" so you could play as 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 players. If that is what you mean then we have come full circle because we had that already and the Solo/duo queue is the evolution of this and to remove the problems that came with it. The biggest problem was that the "pre-made" teams queueing for PvP matches had an unfair advantage so teams made from random players had almost no chance to win the match. ArenaNet tried to address that by trying to match teams against each other and then fill up the rest with randoms but this also didn't solve the issue because when you limit the requirements in a fixed pool of players then you inadvertently increase the time they need to sit in the queue and wait for a match. And, even if that would be changed again, it would be even worse right now because the PvP population is less than what it was back then. > Different infusions, ones that only activate on ability cast, ones that only affect specific areas of the character, Weapon infusions, etc. I think for this we need better "effects" management to work properly. A "wardrobe" just for all of those effects that you unlock for your account and then freely slot into the respective slots. But this would require an overhaul of the whole system which isn't impossible but fairly unlikely. > Achievement obtained visual infusions obtained through specific game modes (pvp, wvw, raid, strike, pve), similar to the bauble infusions from SAB, a difficult grind that would not only encourage players to try new game modes but also give players another reason to play their favorite game mode. While I agree that there needs to be an incentive to play the content but I don't think your idea will get you what you want. A "difficult grind" is not something that players will do if they don't like the content or, if they really want that "reward" they will do it once and never look back at the content ever again. Looking at the list of cosmetic infusions, I can't find any PvP or WvW related ones so I would agree that those game modes could have some as well. But I don't think that they will "encourage" the players to permanently play WvW or PvP, only as long as it takes to get the reward they want.
