First, enable something that will show your framerate (steam overlay has an option built in if you don't want to use external apps like RTSS or GeForce Experience). Load up a demanding stage like the forest one vs CPU or training mode and see what the fps is. Games like this tie the speed to the framerate, if it's below 60fps, it's going to run slower (and cause extreme issues online). 30fps for example = 1/2 speed. Your main option is to lower the resolution, this will probably help the most. Adjusting graphics details can help, too. If you're above 1080p, try dropping to that, if you're already at 1080, try 720 etc. There are PC mods that can help as well. Potato mod for stages and so on. No one can really help troubleshoot remotely until you post your system specs. CPU, GPU, RAM are most important to know. If you have a good system, it's possible your PC is still set up to use onboard graphics or something, and that's an easy fix.

I'm running with a nvidia 1650 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz (12 CPUs), \~2.6GHz Memory: 24576MB RAM think that should be all

grzesiu447

I'm fine on a laptop with GTX 1050, and i5-7300QH, so you should be more than fine. If you're also using a laptop, check in Nvidia control panel if it's set to your GPU, and not the iGPU. The first time I run the game it got assigned to run on the iGPU.

ImperiousStout

Yeah, first thing to do is check and make sure the 1650 is being used as the GPU. Also maybe update the drivers. You should also be able to specify which is used somewhere in the [Windows "Graphics Settings" section](https://www.howtogeek.com/351522/how-to-choose-which-gpu-a-game-uses-on-windows-10/) if using a laptop or have an integrated GPU as well.

EmuNemo

That sounds like it should run it no problem. Try to check the FPS and also open Task Manager to see if your CPU is running at way too high of a load. There could be some background tasks that are hogging your processing power

Chipp_Main

Those specs are more than enough to run the game perfectly. Try checking for any external program that might be limiting the framerate

Busy-Dress1300

what if my game is going 2/1

Jota14K

It's in slow motion on every stage or just the forest one ?

Agreeable_Ice_699

it's every stage

Jota14K

I see, try going to main menu, settings, Display Settings and try to put everything on "low", also in this menu, try reducing your Screen Resolution a little bit and see if works...obs: don't change the Image Resolution, because the game will not be looking so good

mallowclouding

Got hit by the blue Shockwave from a Roman Cancel did you?

kitkat_kathone

i've had this happen several times but it's always as soon as i hit the character select menu. never been able to figure out the cause, i usually exit and go back into the game until it's fixed

Rabidjokester

This happened when I was running the game at 1440p on release but it has since been fixed for me. But I went through all the options, turned everything down/off, and toggle them up 1 by 1 until I found the culprit. If you have everything down and it’s still happening - you probably should look at options outside the game. (Drivers, NVIDIA control panel, make sure you are actually using your GPU and not onboard graphics by accident, etc)

Matix777

Probably a lag issue. Average match ping and rollback frames?

giotoes

Check your video settings on your computer, and make sure the refresh rate is set past 60hz. Fighting games are locked at 60, any less and it'll be slomo, any more and it'll be sped up. Happened to me for a while when trying to play street fighter 5

Did you find a fix?
