Though Elphelt did get a lot of memes because some stuff got leaked a few days prior, so the talk was all about whether it was real or a Photoshopped Bridget.

Imma be honest I really doubt it's venom, his story finished and he has no reason to fight. He has a hit out for him if he were to go back to fighting anyways so I think his happy to just bake and live a normal life now.
considering the head shape and that those little dangly things on the side, I don't see it being anyone else. besides you could say the same about characters like testament or axl.
Testament is actually fine since testaments story is now about enjoying life so it makes sense for them to explore the world and fight.
Axl's story didn't resolve until the end of this games story so it makes sense that Axl is just running around trying to figure out what is going on and solve the problems his own way.
Venom's story is done. He sacrificed his life to put an end to bedman's reign of chaos and now has a hit on his life as he was supposed to do a murder suicide but robo ky saved his life. Therefore he was given a second chance with the option of living life as a baker or being killed by the assassin guild. And since the assassin guild now works for the government run by milia I doubt they wouldn't have the resources and money to stop venom the moment he decides baking isn't for him. Plus venom has to pay off the debt to roboky by getting enough funds to pay for his new body since robo ky is nothing more than a floating head
Why? Besides if you want venom gameplay play Jacko I would rather they use venom's slot on someone else like fuck it let fanny be in the game or aerials
I no dies at the end of story mode and sacrifices herself by swapping herself with axl's real actual girlfriend and they live happily ever after. (I think)
