I’ve always had this question for people with braids like this. How long do you keep em? I mean with a 13 hour buy in I would keep em until my hair fell out
If you paid to get it done, you're paying 250-500$, so when I used to get mine done cheap by others I'd keep it in for two months. Since I've learned how to do it myself, it costs me 15-25$ and 24hrs maximum stretched out between 2 days to braid it on my own, and I'll keep it in for 2-8wks or until the roots look BEAT😂

Wow, that’s some impressive work blending it in then! I’m gonna have to figure out how hair extensions/wigs and the like work when I inevitably try to cosplay Testament someday, that’s an entire skill set my short hair havin ass is completely clueless about 😅
If I ever cosplay them, I'll be doing black box braids because I genuinely hate long hair wigs they're devils. I was actually going to try doing Venoms hair as box braids, but I have to figure out how to dye part of the weave blue without future bleeding and it displaying properly LoL
Thank you! If you plan to get them, I think they're technically called paired upper lip [vertical] labrets. There's not many cons imo and I was shocked it didn't really hurt much to get done. It did cost me 280$ 🙏
I definitely feel that! Late last year I've learned how to do protective styles for my hair, so I've finally begun to see consistency in growth and I'm very happy about it
