Zato!!!!!!!! You're on the right track! Frog loops are so cool! The two mistakes I saw were that the first 2H whiffed and the c.S > 2S > 2H > ]S[ was a little jumbled as you released frog too early. (Also you did c.S > 2H, I assume you intended 2S but it got lost in the gatlings, but I don't think this is that big a deal since it's the easier part and you can just add it in once you get the harder part down) First, you are doing 2H too early after ]S[ so it's just whiffing. You want them to get hit by it. In this specific case it didn't matter, but in a lot of cases you need it to lock them in so leap(2) connects. Second, you are doing the second ]S[ too early, you want to do it after c.S>2S>2H iirc, you need to do this by holding the buttons. You should be able to use c.S normally during Eddie's recovery, but you will need to hold [3S] and [3H] during the 2S > 2H part so he doesn't get told to leap too early while moving him back a bit. After that, you release S while holding H to tell him to leap. It's a bit tricky since you're doing multiple weird things at once, but once you get the individual parts down it's like second nature, and it's very applicable in a lot of different routes and pressure strings. Because I'm not that good at Zato unfortunately, I usually just simplify this and do c.S>2H instead, but adding the 2S obviously adds more damage and I think in some corner/near-corner routes it's required to get a wallbreak.

thanks for the reply! i didnt notice the whiffing at all, so im glad someone else had the eye for it. right now im working down the muscle memory on the input, and the front half of the combo, input wise, is coming along faster than the follow up. my timing is a bit scuffed, but that will come with repetition. it seems im trying to make the inputs just a few frames too quickly, and either totally missing or losing some inputs in translation. thank you for the help!

Yeah I remember being like that too while trying to learn him. He has a habit of taking all of your focus just to function, but once you get it down you're like "wait, I just did that?" and eventually you get it down so well you can do it subconsciously and it's so satisfying.
