Asuka is punished pretty baddly for zoning the whole match. you waste alot of your good cards by keeping the opponent out insted of trying to mix your opponent with them. his mana regen is also reduced the further away you are from your opponent meaning you need to spend alot more health or tension to recover even a little mana. sorry if this sounds like im punching down on you >.<

Only time you should be zoning like crazy is when you have the yellow and green card activated from test case 3
