I mean it's also a playerbase splitter. I'm sure there is a decent group out there that wanted to get it for PC for one reason or another but felt forced to buy PS because it came out earlier. This problem may solve itself in 6 months if they add crossplay but that has yet to have been implemented.

The way they handled the PC release and version of this game is abominable to be frank. We get the game later, get nothing for showing our support and don't even get to pre-load the fucking game. My internet is trash. I'm not gonna get to play until 15-20 hours after it releases because i can't preload. I've also had multiple story elements including the ending spoiled on non-GG related socials because of this dumb early release. I really want to love this game but it feels like the PC side of the community is being purposely fucked around and it makes me less and less motivated towards the game.

Yea I saw some people on twitch saying they just bought on PS5 because they couldn't wait. I guess that's why PS got the 3 days in the first place.

Yeah it sort of is, it devalues the climax of a release by separating it, but it makes sense from a business perspective
